The 6th-7th rounds are essentially an extension of priority undrafted free agency. You start taking the guys you dont want get in a bidding war over.Regardless of speed.

Great question. I was thinking the same thing. Why trade up at all in the 6th round? Do they have some kind of special perspective on this guy that no one else sees? Were they afraid someone else would take him?Why would you give up next years 5th to trade up in this years’ 6th lol? Am I missing something here?
He’s not fast enough for safety or corner.I think this guy may end up at Safety.
Great feet, good ball skill and he tackles.
Ok good to know.Ran a 4.60 40 yard dash, but he pulled a quad so there isn't a definitive 40 yard dash time for him.
Oh right, if they have a late 5th next year it doesn’t matter much. It's the first pick of the 6th which is essentially a pick for a pick, and if they had him as an early 5th, then it's good value!
"No Full Workout-Quad on 1st 40"Special teamer at best?

We do still have our original 6th, so maybe they will take one thereLOL.
I got nothing on this pick.
I guess they think they are set at TB.
What else would you give up? I can understand not liking the selection, but this is a pretty common late round swap and just how trade value works. Why would you give up next years 5th to trade up in this years’ 6th lol? Am I missing something here?
You have to give DQ and Co. the benefit of the doubt after Bland and DQ's history of developing mid round CBs.This thread is giving me flashbacks to the reaction to the Daron Bland pick last year.
They didnt trade up. They still have their 6thWhy would you give up next years 5th to trade up in this years’ 6th lol? Am I missing something here?
Are you seriously calling a 6th round pick a reach ? You think you are getting a definitive contributor here ? You are looking at traits. He has high end athleticism. Look at his broad jump and verticAl. He also has ball skills and performed at a high level.Regardless of speed.
