The 6th-7th rounds are essentially an extension of priority undrafted free agency. You start taking the guys you dont want get in a bidding war over.

Great question. I was thinking the same thing. Why trade up at all in the 6th round? Do they have some kind of special perspective on this guy that no one else sees? Were they afraid someone else would take him?

What else would you give up? I can understand not liking the selection, but this is a pretty common late round swap and just how trade value works.

You have to give DQ and Co. the benefit of the doubt after Bland and DQ's history of developing mid round CBs.

Are you seriously calling a 6th round pick a reach ? You think you are getting a definitive contributor here ? You are looking at traits. He has high end athleticism. Look at his broad jump and verticAl. He also has ball skills and performed at a high level.
