They obviously thought it was a value selection and someone they had rated higher than a 6th rounder. If we are as good as we think we are our 5th next year will be late. Which for the 1st pick in the 6th is whatever. Also there is one less pick than usual this year with Miami forfeiting their 1st. So just in your brain imagine we traded a 5th next year for a 5th this year. Happy now?

Also this guy is a big time athelte. You draft traits late.

Pretty common isn’t it. Trading a year out usually means you give up a pick 1 round better than what you got. Least that used to be the common thought I believe.

Who makes these projections? Because I have a draft guide here from "experts" saying USC tackle Andrew Vorhees is a 2nd round pick and he's still available. Let's not get caught up in this stuff because if these guys knew everything they would be employed by an NFL team.
