The Steelers/ Seahawks game has big implications for both teams. Steelers can still make the playoffs. They win and win next week against the Ravens( Ravens will probably sit a lot of their starters) they could still make the playoffs

I ran the scenario generator. Assuming the Niners and Lions rest many starters, the Rams and Vikings would both win. The game today between Seattle and Pitt is really important. If Seattle loses, it opens the door for the Vikings and Packers. Tonight’s game between the Vikings and Packers would then give the winner the inside track to the 7 seed. I hope we get the Vikings!

Rams and Seahawks both have premium talent, you could argue playing the NFC South winner is easier even on the road.

Best odds are probably the Seahawks again. Ugh. They owned our DBs.

Rams have tiebreaker over them to be #6 And Rams just won.

Watch Vikings/Packers game winner because they have a small small shot if SEA stumbles.

Would be poetic justice and convince me more the curse is gone if we got to play GB and win.

But then again, I think of Seattle and the Romo fumble. Either way, this year is about exorcism
we already beat Seattle in playoffs in 2018

They're currently losing to the Steelers then they have to go to Arizona next week who just beat Philly. I have a feeling they'll miss the playoffs. If they lose today they'll be in a 3 way tie with New Orleans and the winner of Green Bay/Minnesota tonight for 7th. Not sure who has tiebreaker in that scenario.

we need the steelers to do us a solid and knock off the Hawks.

If that happens, we most likely get Green Bay and their terrible defense

This is new age Cowboy fan thinking where you're rather go on the road just to duck a certain team, but not thinking long term because #5 probably goes to SF in the Divisional round. If we lose to whatever wild card team at home who cares we didn't deserve to advance. But if we do then we get another home game.

Fun fact: The 90's Cowboys won 3 Super Bowls but only had to win 1 road game in the playoffs those 3 years, and that was in the NFC Championship game against the 49ers. It is always better to play at home.
