Both are tough but Seattle matches up with us better than rams do.
I agree. The Cowboys pass rush devours statue QBs like Stafford and they don’t have any receivers that will take the top off the defense.

Seattle would have a real shot to beat Dallas, the Rams I don’t think so much.

There is one thing that I think we’re underselling here: Dallas probably has the best QB out of the entire NFC field. In the playoffs, QB play is immensely important.

I ran the scenario generator. Assuming the Niners and Lions rest many starters, the Rams and Vikings would both win. The game today between Seattle and Pitt is really important. If Seattle loses, it opens the door for the Vikings and Packers. Tonight’s game between the Vikings and Packers would then give the winner the inside track to the 7 seed. I hope we get the Vikings!
The Lions still have a chance for the 2 seed. Don't think they are resting anyone.

Best odds are probably the Seahawks again. Ugh. They owned our DBs.

Rams have tiebreaker over them to be #6 And Rams just won.

Watch Vikings/Packers game winner because they have a small small shot if SEA stumbles.

Would be poetic justice and convince me more the curse is gone if we got to play GB and win.

But then again, I think of Seattle and the Romo fumble. Either way, this year is about exorcism
Why do your thoughts go so far back? The most recent playoff matchup had Dallas defeating Seattle in Cowboys Stadium.

5th seed might be easier first round. Rams would be nightmare.
Not really. They almost lost to the Giants. Stafford can't move and these are the kind of quarterbacks the Cowboys defense feasts on. I know they have Kyren Williams this time around but the Cowboys should have Hankins back for the playoffs.

I want that 2 seed. Would rather open the playoffs at home. I think Dallas matches up well to any of the teams in the 7 seed. Even Seattle, they will have a better gameplan for them next time if they even get there.
Exactly you want as many home games as possible on the road to the Super Bowl. Being a 2 seed means you are guaranteed at least 2 home games and if things go right you might get 3.

I hate to say this but who cares......there are no easy playoff games. It's win-or-go-home time, either you are ready or you are not.
Who is saying the games are going to be easy? Let us enjoy this. Cowboys fans like you love to be miserable even when things are going good.

Can’t help it. That curse has drained me. Kid with the 70’s Cowboys, young adult with the 90’s Cowboys, it’s been soul wrenching watch them stumble in WC or divisional round for 30 years.

We could see the Seahawks, Vikings, Packers or even the Saints. Vikings/Packers play tonight so the winner of that will have to win next week. Hope for the Seahawks to lose against the Steelers or the Cards next week. I think the Rams beat the Niners. The Niners will rest their starters. They have nothing to play for.
Niners wont rest because they have a bye week
Cant have your starters not playing for 2 weeks IMO

We've already beaten Seahags with Dak in the playoffs

The thought of seeing Bass and Egoda on the left side makes me think traveling to TB is not such a bad scenario.
