How did I just know this would be coming?
:lmao:

I'm expecting it to come out that Carroll was being given a veterans day. I'd be really surprised if Lewis jumped in front of Carroll into the top three, especially since the first-team secondary didn't do anything bad against LA. Glad that Brown and Lewis are both back on the field, though.

The team just needs to focus on running the ball, play-actions, draws, screens. Eventually defenses will start bringing guys in to stop the run and cover backs and tight ends. Collins should not become that much of a problem then. No pass-first retro-Linehan bullcrap. We want neo-Linehan with the strong run game.

Rather than continuing to describe Rico as "raw", I think we should call him "fresh" like you would if you talking about a vegetable.... which apparently he is..... if you're talking about his football IQ.

If we have a serviceable right tackle, let's get Collins back to left guard unless he starts showing something soon. He looks lost in pass pro.

We have a serviceable right tackle but he can't stay healthy.

What are you talking about? He had inconsistent depth on his kick slide. He wasn't whiffing or missing assignments. His punch actually looked better which had been the problem. He just needs to put it together.

Guys are running by him on the outside. He can't get to them. Terrific in run blocking, but can't handle the speed rushers. New York will torch him if he doesn't pick it up quick.

So you think he doesn't have the quickness to play the position?

Collins was good in pass pro against Arizona. He took a step back against the Rams. At any rate, I would give him a lot of reps there these last three preseason games before entertaining thoughts of moving him back to guard.

Carrol isn't starting because he can't play the slot. Scandrick can play outside. Carrol shouldn't see the field much
