8 teams could win it all this year

First 5 yes, the rest nope.

Seahawks surprisingly have a good team no one talks about. It’s gonna come down to can Geno do it again.
that's the problem. so many years and he had one good, not great year. their defense was pretty bad last year, so not sure if they added enough pieces to make huge leap.

See I don’t see it with Jacksonville or Trevor. Guy threw what 4 picks in his first playoff game? If the QB here did that he would have been tarred and feathered. If it wasn’t for a brutal OC for the Chargers Lawrence loses that game and it would have been 100 percent his fault.
Will see what Trevor looks like this year. It started clucking for him last year. If he has another big jump this year...he'll be a dam good QB. I guess that's the hope with these young QBs, that they keep taking big leaps as they go into their 2nd , 3rd, and 4th years

Based on recent history of Super Bowl and Championship appearances without further evidence there is only 5 serious contenders .
KC, Buff, Cinn, Phi and SF.

It will be interesting just how competitive the AFC East will be this season with Aaron Rodgers move to the Jets. Add a healthy season-long Tua Tagovailoa (keeping my fingers crossed for the young man) and Miami will be two tough divisional games. Bill Belichick will always gameplan and crap up the mix despite whatever offense he fields. This will likely be the toughest division championship run for the Bills in recent history.
Will Hill get any games off?

The Lions seem as poised as any team to take that next step (playoffs). Now whether they can "contend" for a title is a little more dicy. But they are a team that I am interested to see their progression.

Dolphins are intriguing. I have always liked Tua ... but the concussion issue scares me. If he can stay healthy, it's not a stretch. Without him, afraid it's all for naught.

Jets, if they get the OL settled, could cause some serious noise. A motivated AR is a dangerous AR.

I think a few of the teams on original list fall back a little for various reasons. Think we'll see some new playoff entrants this year.

Ravens are on par with the Bengals I think. Last year they almost won the division while missing Lamar for all of December. If he were healthy, Cincy would have been a wild card team and Baltimore would have crushed Cincy round 1. Remember Hundley the backup QB almost knocked Cincy out of the playoffs if it wasnt for the goalline fumble that was the difference in the game. Their seasons were that close.

I think Jets will be a serious contender
Rodgers will be driven to prove that issues in GB were not him and IMO besides Mahomes Rodgers is still the best QB

I know. And on top of that they are in the AFC. But I'd bet on them over the Lions or Seahawks.
I would to honestly. I got questions about them too. I think people just want the Lions to be good…..they are gonna fight for that division. People wrote off the Packers…im not.

You grade us higher than SF? Because of their QB?

Curious, since they beat us the last two years.
Uncertainty at qb and I like the improvements on the Cowboys. Also losing a 1 score game on the road isn't much of a beating.

The Lions are one of the few teams that have never even been to a Super Bowl. Not about to buy into them.

My teams.

Bills
Jets
Dolphins
Bengals
Chiefs
Chargers
Cowboys
Eagles
49ers

People are sleeping on the Jets. Rodgers is basically a no cap hit this year. Allowing for them to stack the team.
Can’t see Tua staying healthy. He’s going to continue to miss games with concussions. He even considered retirement. I’m surprised the Dolphins didn’t go all in on Aaron Rodgers. With their receivers they could have gone a long way with him.

Don't know about the Hawks. It's cool to see Geno Smith has gotten on track though. He could help give them a shot at the playoffs. I remember thinking years back that the Jets gave up on him too early.
Yeah, I don’t see it with Seattle. Geno Smith did have a nice season but can’t see him getting them to the Super Bowl.

I know. And on top of that they are in the AFC. But I'd bet on them over the Lions or Seahawks.
I was actually rooting for the Lions last year cause they've been bad for so long and looked like they could be close to turning the corner and had a very high first round pick plus another and they walk away with...
A third down back and a MLB???
Same old Lions

And yet he still managed to outplay Dakota and hang 40 on our Cowboys last season

and speaking of picks, Rayne threw 2 of them while Trevor threw just one

Lawrence….320 yards, 4 TDs against the top 10 Cowboys defense.
Prescott……250 yards, 3 TDs against the Jaguars 23rd ranked defense

Dakota has hit his ceiling years ago….Lawrence keeps improving and his ceiling is eons above Prescotts.

not mad……..just telling it like it TI Is.

Whether you qualify as a “homer” or a “hater” I don’t understand how anyone can think that this years team doesn’t have a legit shot at a deep playoff run. Why not?

Major injuries aside of course.

I’m going to agree with @rambo2 for a change lol.

This is a good team, enjoy the ride.
