980 Sports Talk in D.C.:The Cowboys are the best of the weak.

Decided to tune in and listen to what they are saying about us in D.C. I don't think these are the regular people that are on this radio station. Here is some of the reasons they listed as to why Dallas will not win the Super Bowl:

*They have a young and inexperienced QB

*Terrell Owens is banged up

*They are the best of the weak (NFC)

*They are not awesome (yes, he really said that )

Later, they seem to contradict themselves a bit when they said the following:

"The Cowboys should be the favorite in 2008. They have young players and more balanced on both sides of the ball than any other team."

Couldn't you apply that same logic to this year?

It's pretty wild watching the roaches come out of the woodwork this week. They're playing for their playoff lives, and Dallas has nothing to play for, and suddenly everyone's supposed to be impressed with the roaches and Todd Collins? Please....I heard the same song and dance about New York, Green Bay and Minnesota.

Well, it's no secret if it's us versus the Pats, the Pats will be favored.

That said, IF we can incorporate Glenn into the offense and TO is healthy, the offense should be better, and much more explosive.

It will be a better game than last time around.

One of them explained to Doc that this was only "Cowboy Week" for the Commanders, the folks in Dallas could care less.

This guy seems to thrive on opening up the phone lines specifically for Cowboys fans.

He keeps playing "Hail to the Commanders" and said Cowboys should get use to it because they play that every time they score a TD.

Man is that true. Reading ES yesterday, a ton of them kept saying that, "They may have playoff position locked up but you know they'll play a ton of their stars because of the rivalry."

Uh, no we won't. Who we play this week means nothing to us. We're not going to risk people we wouldn't otherwise risk because we're playing the Skins as opposed to, say, the Rams.

It really reminds me of Philly. Yeah, it's true that we don't like them and never have, but they hate us a lot more than we hate them.

I live here in Germantown MD. and its ridiculous how Forekin fans really think they're better then we are. They're so hyped to beat us or should I say our backups. They just don't realize that we've wrapped everything up and have accomplished everything possible for this years regular season.

Man I couldn't agree with you more, our backups are damn good. At QB, BJ is better then the last 3 QB's they just beat in Train Rex, Eli, and Jackson. BJ is a vet, smart, protects the ball, and has won a SB. I truely believe we're gonna beat these BUMS with our 2nd team players. We are also 7-0 on the road. Actually, I think we play better on the road.. They're in for a HUGE disappointment. I can't wait!!!!hboy:

On a side note, does anyone here play Warhammer Fantasy? If so, skins fans remind me of Orks.......they whip themselves up into a delusional frenzy and start chanting.....'Ere We Go,'Ere We Go,'Ere We Go! Then get smacked down and creep back into their holes until someone gets the frenzy going again, only to get smacked down again.

I didn't realize how bad it was until I started listening to their respective radio stations over the Internet.

That is why I hope to gawd Cowboys fans don't become like that with regards to the Patriots.
