Boldin has some say in where he goes because both him and the new team will want a new deal signed. He'll look at the differences between us and philly.

1. Philly's management sucks and Dallas's doesn't.

2. Dallas is a contender and Philly blew their wad (opportunity).

3. Dallas is the spot light of the NFL and Philly is the back porch light.

4. Dallas's QB is a rising star and Philly's is a fallen star.

$$$. Jerry man handles his BRINKS truck and Jeffery can't even get his truck started. $$$

Boldin: hmmm......decisions, decisions

Sorry about the regurgitating of old post but it's needed for this thread.

Hurd, Scandrick and a 1st and 4th

4th turns into 3rd if he makes PB

2nd if we win make SB

Barber, no way. Two players and two picks, possible high ones. That's heavy. I want to keep Scandrick, this kid has got some potential.

Now how about a 1st and Henry, a starter. He'll be a free agent soon and we have tons of others to consider signing in the future.

Yea, but Hurd wouldnt missed w/ TO, Boldin, Crayton and Miles(Best WR core in the NFL)

and Scandrick could be good, but for this year he is mostly insurace if Pac someshow isnt re instated. Jenkins, Henry, Newman, Pac, and Ogelsby is plenty.

W/ Boldin, Im assuming the pick is 32. and I wouldnt mind the conditional 2nd since it means were in the SB.

Man I hope Boldin keeps this up

Anquan Boldin, WR Tuesday 8/19, 3:10 PM CT

Anquan Boldin has been upset with Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt for getting involved in his contract dispute, and the wide receiver said that the two do not communicate. However, Whisenhunt claims that simply is not true, according to the Arizona Republic. "At least, if communicating is talking - that's what we've been doing at practice," Whisenhunt said.

Our View: Boldin probably isn't going to appreciate the fact that his coach basically just called him a liar. The team continues to insist it will not move Boldin, nor will it give him a new contract.

Anquan Boldin, WR Tuesday 8/19, 10:01 AM CT

The Arizona Cardinals have said they will not trade wide receiver Anquan Boldin, who recently requested the move, according to the Arizona Republic. This comes after Boldin publicly voiced his displeasure with head coach Ken Whisenhunt. "At this point we have no relationship, and I don't see that changing. It's just gotten to a point where I think lines were crossed. If you ask me, coaches should be coaches, management should be management, and I don't think those lines should be crossed," Boldin said.

Our View: There has been speculation that Boldin is so disenfranchised with the Cardinals that he may walk out of training camp. This situation bears watching for fantasy owners, as Boldin is one of the top receivers in the league when healthy.

Cardinals are very underrated. AZ has a ton of talent on D and O. AZ has more talent on its roster than any NFC west team, that includes the playoff regular Seattle Seahawks.

I do not see the Cardinals just giving Boldin away. I just hope Jerry does not give up any of the top 5 CBs_I would rather give up either Crayton or Hurd, maybe Bowen & a future first round pick.

Does their OL still suck? Maybe Kosier would be of interest. In any case, Dallas does not have much to offer in terms of elite talent.

Maybe Dallas can sweeten the pot by packaging Ellis-Kosier-Crayton-Ball-future 1st rounder (1st or 2nd depending if Boldin goes to pro bowl) & a 4th for Boldin, Karlos Dansby & a 7th.

they arnt going to give him away at all, so the point is moot

why would we trade him? who has even remotely looked like a decent replacement? I cant think of anyone and have seen both preseason games...none of those backups looks capable of being an every week starter right now

what the hay? are you freaking serious? 3 starters and a first rounder for Boldin and Dansby? Apparently a Mike Lynn protege huh?

Would the Dallas Cowboys offense would be unstoppable if Anquan Boldin is the starting WR opposite of Terrell Owens? I will answer for Cowboys Nation.

Yes, and a big fat yes at that.

We know Boldin wants out of Arizona and we know Jerry Jones wants a legit weapon opposite Terrell Owens for the 2008 season and beyond.

So it's a marriage made in heaven if you ask me.

I give you permission Mr. Jones to offer them next season's 1st round draft pick. It may be a steep price, but it's one that I am willing to pay for an even better shot at winnin the Super Bowl in 2008.

And the best part of this? Anquan is doing his best job to get himself out of Arizona as is evident by his appearance on The Michael Irvin Show today...

Boldin on The Michael Irvin Show (This goes on for 29 minutes so settle in with a drink and some snacks.)

The Cardinals never pay up. That's the reason they never win games and it's one of the reasons no one usually wants to go sign there as a Free Agent.

Heck, they had a Pro Bowl Guard in Leonard Davis and stupidly played him at Left Tackle for years.

When I heard that he's not even talking to the coach my juices really started flowing that this trade scenario is more of a possibility now than ever before.

Get this thing done Jerry!!!

Yeah. And I think we should worry about this year first.

If the Lions offense goes berserko with Williams and Johnson then they are going to give him enough money to stay in Detroit.

i'm worried long term first, dc. if we quick fix and bolden gets hurt, we hurt ourselves. you can't go on injuries that *may* happen no. but i don't want to get so wrapped up in 1 position we overvalue how much it means.

the only thing different about our wr's this year is they're a year older.

i don't view WR as the reason we didn't win against the giants. while i would like to upgrade our WR position, we waited a year last year at CB and fixed it right.

is bolden a patch, or a fix? if a patch, i wait. if a fix, let's go.

You say "to-may-to" I say "toh-mat-o", but instead of targeting the subjective part of my assertion, why not address the more objective point_YOU name me a NFC west team w/more talent.

Either you need to brush up on your football lingo, or you need to come off your condescending high horse, tough guy. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and consider you ignorant in this case_"giving a player away" means not getting much back in a trade.

I guess you have not been paying much attention to the training camp reports. Kosier has struggled more than any other starting OL in Houck's new scheme. Multiple reports have Berger pushing him.

David

Actually its 3 starters, a first (if Boldin does not make pro bowl it would be a 2nd) AND a fourth for Boldin and Dansby. A Mike Lynn quip, how brilliant and original.

Which one of those 3 starters are you so in love with: Kosier, Crayton or Ellis?

If you had any original insight, Ellis may be your reply, but Dansby is a younger Adalius Thomas at 6'4 255 he can play inside, and outside. Hell I'd eventually move Zach Thomas to James' strongside spot and put Dansby at weakside, allowing Spencer more time at OLB.

Boldin & Dansby are better than those 3 starters and 2 "who the hell knows who they'll be OR how they will turn out in 2-3 years" future players.
