If he goes to the Eagles it is really not a big deal.

Its good for the division.

If we take care of business none of this matters.

The Eagles are not one player away.

The thing is tho that Mcflabb is the master of improv and he has missed having a comrade since TO if he gets Anquan he has it again.

If he goes to the eagles, they should be the favorite to win the division. JMO.

they have the best defense in the division I think and one of the best players in the game in westbrook. If they add boldin I think they become the favorites not that it matters.

wr's dont win championships.

However he would create quite a tandem with owens. He would open up our running game with his deep threat and his outstanding blocking and he is insurance that the passing game wont fall off if owens were to miss some time.

I guess I should have put a smiley after "championship" I thought it was self evident.

I think they certainly get closer to both us and the Giants, and Washington would be the clear-cut last place team. And while Westbrook is a very good player, I prefer our running game, especially with the addition of Felix Jones.

MBIII/Felix Jones > Westbrook/Buckhalter/Booker

And Owens is still better than Boldin, no two ways about it. And they lose significant depth in their secondary if they move Lito. Nope, we've still got the upper hand IMO.

I see what your saying Mick, but the Giants were several players away in that secondary & still won the Super Bowl. Our division is competitive enough :D

why would Rosenhaus deal with the Eagles again?

Besides Westbrook (finally gets new deal), Samuels, & McChoke the Eagles are known to low ball their players.

that is purely speculation. Rosenhaus is his agent, don't underesitmate jerry and stephens relationship with Rosenhaus.
Yep... If they get serious about trading him, you can bet your last dollar that Jerry will be trying his best to get in on the action.

lets just hope we can land him.

it would suck for Boldin to go to Philly, a team known for low-blowing players with their salary after his situation in Arizona.

Who could Dallas send to Arizona?

What depth we do have, we need. Other than maybe Austin/Hurd and Bobby Carpenter and a bag of donuts, what else do we have to trade with?

IMO, this would get it done. Its a bit pricey but it makes sense for the Cards.

1st= obvious in any trade.
3rd=
Patrick Crayton= Needs someone to replace Boldin

Eagles would offer something similar but I beileve the 3rd gets us over the top

Theirs or Carolinas 1st and Lito Sheppard

Thats what its going to take.

If that's what it takes for the Cowboys, I'll pass.

And considering that the Eagles always have to try to outsmart everyone they trade with, I doubt they'd pay that asking price either - even if they should.

We have an abundance of corners too, that dont need big contracts and we have an extra 3 and 4.

If we offered them Ball, a 1 and a 4 or the 3 They would have to consider it.

If they trade for sheppard they have to pay him and he is injury proned.

Something to ponder.

There is no way that the Cards would take a 1 and a 4 and Alan Ball over a 1 and Lito Sheppard. That would be stupid. You'd be taking a SERIOUS downgrade at the CB position for what? An extra 4th? No chance.

If it came down to that he's an Eagle for sure.

As for the other idea where we gave up a 1, 3, and Crayton...Thanks but no thanks. WAY too much for one player.

The Eagles are not one player away. If they got Boldin what does that do to us in the division? nothing. Newman will cover him and keep him from hurting us and the rest of our secondary could easily handle the rest of the Mash Unit that is known as an Eagles WR Corps.

Ball has no trade value imo. Hes on the fringe of being cut, why would they want him?

As for my trade idea, thats not my trade its just what Arizona would want imo.

Just a matter of time...Boldin recently renewed his trade demand

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Cardinals confirmed late Monday that the agent for Anquan Boldin recently renewed his client's trade demand. The team refused to honor it.

A team spokesman says Arizona still hopes to sign him to a new contract. Boldin hasn't threatened to walk away from the Cardinals, but a source told the Arizona Republic that it's a possibility. The team's latest proposal to Boldin was reportedly for half of what Larry Fitzgerald is making.

I think they would be our #1 competition for the division and conference but not the favorite.

There is really nothing showing they are the best D in the division. We gave up 20.3 ppg and they gave up 18.8 ppg. That is the only only statistical category they beat us in. I'm not sure they're even the 2nd best D in the division.

Jerry Jones is not going to give up a lot for a wide receiver. Enter Joey Galloway.

Patrick Crayton just signed a contact extension last year, I don't think he's going anywhere.

Arizona knows they aren't going to win a SB.
