You could actually feel the tension when TO, Witten, and Romo gave the after game interview after the Giants win last year.

Yes, we will miss his production, I'm not saying we won't. But stepping away from that, you have to admit, its rather refreshing. A new start. Its not TO and the Dallas Cowboys anymore.

im sorry but to think that TO and the cowboys wont be brought up in the same sentence next season is ludacris. If the cowboys cut TO and still play horrible next season nfl analists will throw this move in the face of the franchise as just one move in series of bad moves that led to their downfall. Itll just be blamed on coaching or something else. its always going to be something, its the cowboys.

I don't see it this way. TO was the brashest of any of the other guys who might pipe up.

Their leader is gone, and if Jerry will take a 9 million dollar cap hit to cut him, what do these other dorks think jerry will do to him?

This move will speak volumes to any and every player on the team.

I agree and hope Jerry puts every player on notice.

Jerry not overpaying free agents and releasing Owens are tough decisions good GM's can make if they have the staff in place to develop and relplace needed players.

Now if Jerry will empower his coaches and put the same pressure on them to produce, this team might finally come together.

Even without TO, we have plenty of players to compete and make a run if they play together, work hard, quit talking and start producing.

I still have little to no confidence in Jerry as GM, but if he continues on this road, I can see a ray of hope back at the ranch.

The league is just too watered down and you cant afford to have a team of allstars, its more about team that its ever been. Build an organization, a coaching staff and talent evaluators that can keep you competitve for years.

Bring back toughness, respect and fear, The Cowboys should be in the running year end and year out, other teams should fear and respect them and NEVER be the laughing stock they have been for far too many years now

Why is everybody freaking out so bad? T.O is a great WR but let him go we can be a team now our offense can be a real offense not just worked around him to make him happy. I mean think about it he brought us down no doubt in my mind about it and what did we do with him here? NOTHING!!
