"Dude , your Team is SO predictable on offense that it's absurd"

And going back and watching some stuff - he's 100 % correct! And last week it was bad - real bad. Very little in the way of playaction , even against Philly when we were stuffing the run down their throats -we never bothered to sell playaction deep down the middle to Witten - NEVER!

We need an overhaul this week v.s. the Giants not just a wrinkle or two , we need to unleash some stuff we haven't used yet.

As you know this is a huge game and in NY they're building this as a Giants stepping stone to the NFC Crown b/c their Schedule gets REAL Soft REAL Soon.

For whatever reason, be it Bledsoe's SEVERE lack of flow or SEVERE lack of tempo or maybe it's just a poor OC mind calling the plays we just look FLAT and UNIMAGINATIVE on offense.

They kept it low risk against Houston because the only way the Texans could beat us was by getting a bunch of turnovers. Plus the way JJ was running on them why would you want to air it out? Throwing the ball carries much more risk then pounding on a team who cant stop your running game.
We will see more offense against the giants because we wil have to score 24 or more to have a godd chance of winning.

IDK

You start getting too cute, running too many reverses ect. and you get hit for a big loss. That roll out is predictable, but it works bc the corner has to respect Glenns speed and sits on the curl route

I wouldnt mind seeing more Witten though

If we were so predictable, we wouldn't be in the top 5 in the league in scoring.

And that's with our bye week out of the way.

Don't let facts get in your way though.

Yeah, I'll settle for consistetly scoring 25+ points and running the ball effectively.

Clean up the turnovers, and this offense is downright nasty.

Yeah nothing like the Facts like Stickiing a 34 Spot on the lowly Texans and a 40 Spot on the Titanics ....

Facts burn ...

Well they should have been able to predict exactly what plays we were supposed to run, since we're SOOOOO predictable...

How bout that vaunted Indy offense putting up 14 on the Titans?

You tried to make a point and missed badly - just admit it.

You just don't realize how rediculous you sound, do you? The point of your post is how predictable we are. If we are that predictable, a college team should be able to stop us, it shouldn't matter who we play. If they know it's a running play, bring all 11 in the box then, right?

I'm also curoius, on the 4th down play to Glenn, did you predict that pass also? I know I sure as hell didn't, but I guess I'm not as smart as your friend

The 4th Down call to Glenn was one of the worst play designs in history ! There was nowhere for him to go - whatsoever! 5 kids in the street playing two hand touch could have come up with a better call. We stunk in that 1st half! The Texans were waiting on everything we did - it was obvious, do you know how stupid YOU sound??

Actually, I think you're the one who missed badly. He's right. We're, like, #3 in scoring offense in the league. That doesn't come from predictability. If you want a predictable offense, check out what the 'skins are runnin'. They hand the ball off, and throw sideways. *yawn*

One of the reasons Julius has been doing so well is because we're NOT predictable. Terrell Owens, the two tight-end set, where Terry Glenn is gonna be; all these things prevent a defense from predicting what our offense is gonna do. And the results speak for themselves.

Even against a good "D" like the Eagles (and even Jaguars, to a lesser extent), it was not offensive predictability that stopped us. It was our offensive line's inability to stop the blitz. And we were still just a few yards away from laying down 31 points on them.

Sorry, dude, our offense is anything but predictable. Now, has it been clicking on all cylinders? Have we been in-synch on offense? Have we had text-book execution? No. Definitely not. But that actually speaks volumes into the potential this offense has. We've been off, and are still among the league's highest-scoring teams. That says something. But what it doesn't say, is predictable.

And by the way, yeah, his mention of the Colts whopping 14 points on the Titans...

.... pretty much buries your argument.

Have a nice night!

To be fair, even if you're predictable you can simply be more physical and outplay your opponents.

1) Our O numbers are inflated b/c of Tenn & Hou - if that needs to be explained you don't know football.

2) You just made my point - our OL couldn't handle the Over the Center blitz - why? b/c They knew exactly when we were gonna pass - Did bledsoe audible? Yes - he went to a max protect - however not onetime in all their blitzing did we sting them deep....not once did he aduible to a Shotgun to avoid the rush and fire deep - we ran 1 ONE ! Draw that caught them.

3) Don't give me points scored or YPG etc - It's obvious that against 2 big mean Defenses that we couldn't do much of anything. And even Houston laid the wood to us early.

No, he didn't. If you're too vain to admit it, fine, but he hit the ball out of the park.

The years we won 3 of 4 Super Bowls we were very predictable. You still have to stop the predictable team and make them pay. With our weapons that isn't easy. Acknowledge that for a change and stop you're constant droning whine fests where you listen to these outside sources and give them credence.

By all means show me an unpredictable team that never lost. Good luck in your search. Excuse me while I don't hold my breath waiting for you to come up with something relevant.

I am not gonna disagree with that, but this guy is making it out like the defense has somebody in our huddle every play.

Also, his Tenn & Houston arguement is weak. Even if you take out those games , we are averaging 23 pts/ game, still in the top 10. I know, more facts though.

I would also like to know what he means by predictable, run vs pass, run strong side vs weak side, what?

We've scored 28 points or more in 4 out of 5 games this year ... you're right, that's pretty predictable. .

24 or more

Take out our games against Houston and Tennessee then... 17, 27, 24. Still an average of 23 points per game... 22.7. That average would still be 9th in the league.

2) You just made my point - our OL couldn't handle the Over the Center blitz - why? b/c They knew exactly when we were gonna pass - Did bledsoe audible? Dude, it's pretty easy to predict passing situations. Lemme guess. Most of those blitzes where Bledsoe had to max protect were on a 2nd or 3rd and long?? Shocking revelation there. Sacking the QB is not much of a sign of predictability.

3) Don't give me points scored or YPG etc - It's obvious that against 2 big mean Defenses that we couldn't do much of anything. And even Houston laid the wood to us early.
Translation... "don't bother me with facts. My argument supercedes facts, because I say so."

Against those two big mean defenses we still averaged over 20 points. Still top half of the league.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled spin... already in progress.
