I know many here hate on the guy, but I really would like to see what Jesee Holley can do in the slot.

Holley actually has good hands and is an okay route runner, but in the slot, you really need to have a knack for finding the open zone and still get in the general area where the BQ expects you to be. That takes quickness, not speed.

The question is, can Holley play with that quickness as a slot WR. If he can he'll make this team as the last WR on the depth chart because he's already a proven player - and among the better ones - on special teams.

Fact is we have two legitimate 1s at WR. That's pretty good.

Good observation. See if Ogletree can prove anything, Harris to show he can repeat even half of what he did the 1st game. I would like to see Radway get some more reps too. As well as holley, and any improvements he may have made.

Holley sucks as a WR. He's almost 28 years old and has never caught an NFL pass. I know he has a lot of fans because of the TV show, but the guy is just not talented enough to be a WR in the NFL.

This. He really needs to show something with Harris breathing down his back. I know it was just one preseason game against scrubs, but Harris was impressive last week. Ogletree was OK, but he didn't have any really big plays. I'm rooting for all of them. May the best man win the third spot.

I'm not sure that Ogletree and Harris are exactly competing head to head. Ogletree is more of an outside WR than a slot guy, while Harris was mainly brougtht in for his ability to play in the slot.

So it's less relvant which one - Ogletree or Harris - will be our #3 or #4 WRs. Both will make the team because they each contribute differnet/unique skill sets. So both can equally see the field based on injuries, situations and formatios that Garrett might want to run.

So I wonder more about who wins the 5th WR spot, and even the 6th if we go 6-deep at WR. that's why I think the second half of the upcoming preseason game will be interesting from that perspective.

Well Garrett had some good things to say about Ogletree today in his press conference so I think he will be just fine.
