No horn....but nice catered food. Good people. I can't say the women are very good looking up here. I remember when I had my agency in Dallas (mostly corporate stuff for Ericsson and TI) we would get some seriously beautiful women lined up to audition. I miss that!

Never say never. You would be surprised how many people have made it big here in NYC coming from small towns! I enjoy meeting them and listening to their stories. You have the talent and experience you should give it a try.Doritos had a competition for independent commericals, and if I am not mistaken the 3 finalists' commercials were the ones we watched. Careerbuilder.com also had a competition and the 3 finalists each got $100,000. I dont know how much the Doritos winner got.

thanks, dallascowboyfanboy. I've won some gigs in mid-level markets, but it gets tougher every year. Those competitions are tough...because you can put so much work in and end up with nothing. I have another cousin who won a $100K prize with HBO for a documentary (http://www.deathoftwosons.com/bios.html). I'm too lazy to do that at this point in my career.

how much of this were you responsible for? Were you involved in the shoot and the edit?

theebs I really did the lions share on that project. I started with the concept and wrote all the script. I worked up 3d storyboards where 3d actors were positioned to demonstrate the marks for each shot. The ad agency guy hired and directed the talent...then it was all my 3d/CG work from there on. I didn't do much on the audio.The key was to really plan out the angles so I could make sure I could marry the live action to my 3d scenes. The video shoot was 100% green screen. There was no set except for what was built in 3d. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Both.
