A Dak thread

Doesn't help his recievers are unable to get open. Dez has been terrible, Beasley is being doubled and can't get open. TWill is Twill. Witten has disappeared. As I said, his stats overall show that he hasn't been terrible. People were just spoiled by his great rookie year.
He lacks the ability to throw them open too. There was a really good article some weeks back talking about Dez's seperation compared to the truly elite WR's (Julio, Brown, etc...), was essentially the same. Dak just isn't very good right now.

There's a reason why it was 10-10 with 9 minutes to go in the game against a team looking to quit and it's not because our QB was playing well. But they break a few big plays at the end and suddenly he's back and our future once again.

If you just looked at the stats he played well. If you watched the game you know better. Those numbers lie.

Statistics always lie.

What we want is a QB that can make all the throws and not consistently struggle with accuracy and his mechanics.

Bull........he hit Dez right in the hands on what should have been a TD.

He hit multiple receivers right in the hands in the last few weeks .......... and you kind of "fans" make excuses for everyone else except the second year QB.

He's still had a terrible year to this point, let's see how he does against Seattle and Philadelphia. A strong finish will go a long way.

Dak is 5th in the League in Total QBR and EPA. Hardly terrible. It’s only disappointing when compared to his historic rookie season. Terrible would be Derek Carr who got a $125 million contract and is currently 20th in Total QBR.

Yes lets cherry pick a few throws.

Go watch the San Diego, Philly, Washington, & Atlanta game and tell me he hasnt struggled with accuracy and mechanics. You wont though, because it doesnt fit your homer-filled agenda...

I have watched them son ........ and I saw the same things .......yet in those games the Line was also not blocking.

Talk about agendas .......... you clowns are complaining about a guy who is 19-8 in his second year with receivers who cannot catch.

Dak has been ok. He's looked great at times, and lost at others. The concerning thing to me is that his "lost" spell was the better part of a month's worth of games.

One thing I'm sure people have noticed is that even when he's on, its mostly short passes that get turned into long gains. That can work if the QB continues to play within his limitations and the game plan accounts for it, but its still a limitation.

Lol the line was not blocking

Keep embarassing yourself

Dak has had his struggles.

However, he played well the entire Giants game.

The first two drives of the game he has long touchdown passes dropped by Dez and Terrance.

Both should have been long TD’s both thrown to good spots in tight coverage and both dropped terribly.

Putting the passing game struggles solely on Dak is nonsense. Our receiving Corp as a whole is playing very average this year. The truth is they just aren’t playing well as a unit either.

It’s not solely on the quarterback. Some of it is, but not all of it.

It’s also on coaching a lot too. But we have all been over that before.
