A disturbing Julius Jones quote

Well, it's not like our crowd is much help. They've been a factor in maybe one game since ... forever.

They were all ready to help for that Eagles game, and then the players laid a huge egg in front of them. I can't expect them to go crazy while the team is getting rolled and barely putting up any resistance.

From an article: "I'd rather play on the road," Julius Jones said. "We come together well as a team on the road. It's kind of us against the world. Plus, there are too many distractions at home. Here, there are all types of things going on. People got family in, and they're wondering what they will be doing after the game."..."We play great on the road, so we are in a good position."

I agree that this team plays with more focus on the road, but nonetheless, the bolded part of Ju.Jones' quote above really bothers me because these players have been playing lately as if there isn't a game going on; mentally that seems to be the case.

I believe that stuff goes on with every team in today's NFL.

It does. Some teams are just better at handling it than others.

-How many family members are coming to the game?
-I've gotta get them good seats so I don't hear them complain later.
-Where are we going to eat after the game?
-I've gotta make sure they get good parking near the player area so we don't get separated after the game.
