He said QUALITY CB. :lmao:
Has all the physical skills; just needs to refine technique and attitude re-adjusted. Needs a fresh start. Despite all his current flaws, would be a good pick-up w/ a 3rd or 4th rounder......

Hall is NOT a good pick up. He is fundamentally flawed both in technique and attitude. NOT to mention he would cost too much for what we would get out of him. The only way ANY team lets go of a CB is if they have too many good ones. Show me a team that has 4 really good CBs. Or they have an OLDER one. Young good CBs do not go ANYWHERE.

Does anyone think it would be wise to offer another team say a 4th rd pick for a CB that could allow us some more depth. With Henry and TNew both ailing I'm more than concerned about that position.

Maybe we could find a team like the Rams or Saints that are struggling and have a good CB whose contract is up at the end of the year and they may not be able to resign. Someone like Mike McKenzie for the Saints.(not sure about his contract though)

It would be nice to have another quality CB.

Whoa, you want one of the Rams CBs? Are you nuts!

We need a smilie that says .....

This is not Madden!

Tell that to the Pats who got Moss for a 4th, or the Cowboys who got Terry Glenn for a 6th.

Sometimes teams are willing to let go of talented older players for low round draft picks, I don't see what the harm is in exploring that option.

because it gets old for every freaking player with some form of a name being "that player" to someone out there who must make a post saying "what about this player???" which is great in fantasy land but it only shows that the person making that statement is a casual fan at best because the rules of the game and/or logistics of taking these "chances" will preclude it far more often than not.

we've even got a "ricky williams" thread of all things.

Those two players wasn't let go for dirt cheap because of their age, it was due to their behavior, big difference.

I don't know what option should be explored with 4th round pick because nobody in right mind would trade their quality CB for a 4th round pick.
