This has been a popular subject this week, but no one ever really mentions anything other than a couple specific games. Maybe Dallas fans are better experts on this, but here's history as I remember it.
He didn't play well the last 3 weeks of the season but they were 12-1 so who cares.
vs NYG in the playoffs. I remember him playing really well in this game. They could have sealed it and Crayton dropped a crucial 3rd down pass. The Giants had a big punt return and set up the touchdown to win the game. Romo had another chance and threw a pick, but it was a desperate shot to the end zone. I don't think it's fair to count that. That's the probable outcome in that situation.
vs MIN in the playoffs. Got his only playoff win the week before. Entire team gets destroyed by the Vikings. I don't think it's fair to count this one.
vs Detroit. Blew a huge first half lead and turned the ball over 3 times in the second half. Yup.
vs NYG. I think this was another week 17 scenario? Played pretty well, they lost 31-14.
vs NYG. 4 picks in a 29-24 loss.
vs WSH. 3 picks in a week 17 scenario.
vs GB. Sure they should have been running the ball. He still threw 2 picks late in the game. I'll count this one.
And that's where we're at. Looking at it this way, his record doesn't look that bad. I might have overlooked something, but does anyone strongly disagree with this assessment? This is how I've perceived his career as an unbiased observer.
