I know this is not a huge deal but Ive been very impressed with Lattimore. So much so, I wouldnt be suprised if he could be a quailty back some where. I hope he makes the team because I think he has earned it with his preseason play. I know RB is our strongest poistion.

I never saw the TE Hannah play before but after he scored Friday he looks like a physical freak. I really think he is worth keeping around due to his raw talent.

Last, I know this is stating the obvious but Olgetree was good. Opinions

The only way Lattimore makes the team is we trade one of our RBs or one gets injured.

I agree. Running back is loaded 3 deep. I'm rooting for Lattimore because I think he is a good kid ( I tend to root for little brothers ) but all 3 of our backs could be starters for 90% of the teams in the league and there is no way we can keep 4. Good luck Keon.

Well we could trade him somewhere for a 4th round pick to get something for him.

Why would anyone trade for a player we can't keep anyways?

because if a team sustained any injuries to their first and second string backs, they'd want to get a guy in early enough to learn the scheme and playbook to be ready for the season opener..

They could just wait for him to be cut or take him off our PS.

I like the play of Lattimore but I don't think he makes the cut with Barber,Jones and Choice in front of him. I do think his play will help him make it some where in the NFL.

I could see Hannah making the team and right now I would put Olgetree ahead of Stanback for the final WR spot.

One other guy who caught my attetion was Crosslin at FB. He did a nice job down on the goal line blocking and had a couple of nice catches as well.

Nobody is trading for Lattimore. He looked just as good last year as he does this preseason and he still didn't end up on an active roster.

What a wonderful predicament. I don't think we've ever had it quite like this.

Running backs are a dime a dozen. Lattimore has no trade value.

real talk... though I would beg to differ a bit with regard to the three we have. They're all special because they're all going to contribute huge this year in our favorite uni. :)

They are about the same size both at 245 but I do agree Crosslin looked a bit quicker and the block he threw at the goal line to help get the ball in the endzone was very nice.

I disagree. Lattimore looks better this pre-season than he did last pre-season. He looked tentative last year, which is not too surprising. That stuff happens to many young running backs. He looks much improved from last season. Seems like he took advantage of being on the Jags practice squad last year.

Still the 3 guys ahead of him in Dallas are better. He won't make it in Dallas, but he may be positioning himself for a back up role on some other team. Good for him and good for Dallas for having nice talent in place at the running back position.

I agree. He has done a pretty good job and Garrett puts him in so he must have confidence in him. I would let Cricket go and keep Crosslin.

That has to be one of the most homeristic things ever stated on this board. There are only 32 teams so your saying Barber, Jones, and Choice are all top 4 RBs in the entire league. :laugh2:

Although I wouldn't be in favor of doing it, we could keep Lattimore as our third RB and see what we could get for Choice. Again, I wouldn't want to do it, because I think Choice is going to be a very good back. However, unless Barber or Felix gets hurt (considering both did last year, it could happen again), Choice's touches are going to be limited. Would be nice to pick up a good OL or OLB. Even though we could trade him for a position player we need more than a third RB, I still want to keep him. Just something to think about.
