Twitter: A few snaps from Joey Porter Jr in the second half

Here is every snap.

If we could get that kind of performance out of the other CB position too, we'd be cookin'.

Caution adult language.
Is that really you Dale?

[atlantacowboy]

He reminds me of Byron Jones - he should be able to knock down passes and break up passes. He is Not so much of a ball hawk DB.

We wasted Byron's best years trying to make him a safety. He finally made a pro bowl when we switched him to CB. Miami then signs him to a record breaking deal at the time. He was the highest paid CB in NFL history at one point. He then promptly got injured and was never the same. Miami cut him after 3 seasons.

I think Byron is a better athlete than Porter, but Porter is just a dog. We need more like him.

Looks like we should play more man.

A great throw beats good coverage.
If Dak were the QB he would have completed 80% of his passes on Porter. lol...

Dude is like glue.

All that zone means is that you know that your corners are just average.
Dogs play man.

He's a stud.

If this defense adds one legit pass rusher, we might be on to something.

TNew, but Porter is bigger and more physical than him. He's top 5 today.

Newman was my guy. It's a shame how the fan base turned on him in his later years as a Cowboy...

Buy the kid a decent pair of pants.

The team too. Zimmer got him cheap in Cincinnati & Minnesota.

[Ebnorice]

Not in shape just yet. He handled Nico in the playoffs last year. Collins did nothing that game.

Fair point

Here's a Joey Porter tidbit that is soon to become irrelevant:

The trade for him was a 2028 2nd round pick and a conditional 2027 6th round pick. However, the condition was Porter being active for two games. The minute he steps on the field Thursday we officially owe Pittsburgh next year's sixth.
