A few thoughts

Thought I read somewhere both Dez and Collins both broke the 5th Metatasil (sp) bone in their foot.

This is true for all teams and all sports.

Well, dah! Simply put, some fans are more realistic than others. In saying as much, I wasn't referring to any other teams nor other sports at all but rather, the individual fans who evaluate their team's talent. Some are in the clouds while others are grounded. Very basic stuff.

Again the mental as

My ultimate off season would have been the following: And had we done this, we could be a serious contender this year.

-Signed Miller the RB from Miami along with Alfred Morris
-Signed Cedric Thornton
-Signed Panthers Corner that Washington signed
-Drafted Jaylon Ramsey in the first round
-Kevin Dodd 2nd round
-Traded back into the 2nd round by giving up 2 4ths and our 3rd and taken Jaylon Smith LB

We take that team into this year and you have some real possibilities. The defense is VERY young and talented. Secondary is looking like one of the best in the NFL. Gregory, Lawrence, and Dodd as 3 young pass rushers and you have to hope 2 out of those 3 make it. In a year you get Jaylon Smith to round out the defense. The run game is still tops in the league with Miller and Morris steamrolling it.

You now have a team that could make a legitimate 3 year run at the SB if Romo can stay healthy.

You think we had money to sign Morris, Miller, Norman and Thornton? Not to mention where you getting the 2nd 4th round pick to trade?

Its always like this during the offseason. Optimism is high. Cowboys also generate it to sell season tickets. Its just a process
and the way it is, it really is just business.

Yep, all teams have rose colored glasses on right now. As some fans as well. This is the time of year where all believe they got it right this upcoming season.
And there is nothing wrong with that. Then injuries and games start. Then the glasses go away until next off season.

And I had sold my PSL's and tickets to prior to the draft. I have no regrets though. My friends who said it was a good move back then, are now saying I should have kept them for one more year as the value will go up if they win this year. I told them they are insane. It's not their money. LOL. They are looking through those glasses. I am looking at it from a pure financial move. Nothing with how I think the team will do.
But I do have optimism it will be a good year. As I do every year.
If there are games I want to go to, I'll just buy tickets.

Sign miller to his 8 million per year dollar deal, then sign josh norman to a 100 million dollar deal? Salary cap?

Yep, probably couldnt have happened. Because Jones has mishandled the cap for so many years. Dumping Carr would have been a priority.
