It sucks that I can’t feel good after a big division win but Prescott and the offense played so poorly that I can’t. The funk continues and unless it’s fixed, we can’t be serious contenders.
I will take the win. If Dak didn’t throw the pick 6 at the end I would feel better. He did in this game slowly gain MUCH needed confidence running. He slipped once and slid early on a designed run but also ran for a first down. He needed that but something maybe wrong with the shoulder or something. He is over throwing and under throwing. Didn’t see alot of drops except our Defense dropped about 3 sure picks. Let’s hope this mess gets sorted out. Let’s use the giants game to get rolling. Has anyone heard about Tyron, he was rolled up on..

The same thing that the Raiders scoring 36 on us has to do with anything at all.
The Raiders dropping 36 on us means a lot more than a game between Washington and Tampa Bay that we weren't even involved in.

You should stop while you're behind.

Yep, couldn't agree more and this was exacerbated by the QB shooting off his mouth last week about "ya ain't seen nuthin yet". Well, I've seen what he did yesterday before and that won't cut it against teams not resembling a MASH unit.

The other side of this will say 9-4, 3 game lead and already beaten the division teams once and they will be right. If all one is interested in is winning the East, that's good.

That was one of the "worst" wins I have seen in a long time and I had said they would be a contender if they beat them and they are because they're going to win the division. But there is a chasm between being a contender and being a true contender.

LOL. Me stop? You are bringing up a game that had a league high in penalty yardage as a measuring stick for a defense that didnt have (3 main players) that are now back and using it as an argument that they arent good lol.

Your excuses doesn't lower how many points they scored.

Sorry bout it.

Unfortunately, none of these divisional opponents will be in the playoffs for Dallas to beat up on. I know we say a win is a win....and it is. But i am expecting this offense to show improvement the last several weeks and it ain't happening. Especially Dak. They need to start showing something coming down the stretch or it will be a quick exit in the playoffs.
Ok and being frustrated helps how?

Cowboy fans aren’t happy with a win or loss. Guess you’re always grumpy.

He had Zeke wide open streaking on that play and finally decided to just run the thing. That’s what I’ve noticed differently about him this year. He’s had plenty of room to run and make the first down and he’s looking to throw now. It’s hurting his game.
I cant agree with you more , Its a whole part of our offense that opposing defenses no longer account for or assign personnel to . Since being injured he has been playing a bit scared relying on being a pocket QB and that is fine when we are at full strength in a perfect world with no injuries and all the time in the world to throw .

At the end of the season with everyone banged up and the playoffs at stake its time for Dak to take some calculated risks and make some plays with his legs .

At the end of yesterdays game he became more scared of blowing the game and did what he needed to do with his legs to seal the game . Hope he starts using them more but Im not banking on it

Yep coach and it was preceded by a horrible win against the Saints that were equally injury plagued . Maybe Im just a bad fan but after watching Brady and Rodgers execute their offenses yesterday we are not in that class and I will be satisfied with winning the division and going one and done because at this point right now a higher expectation is not realistic.
Im not saying things could not change in 4 games but if we struggle through a couple wins against the Giants and Skins again then lose to the Cards which is probable and get beat by the Eagles in the final game we are toast .

Unfortunately right now that is how I see it playing out . You are 100% right there is a big difference between being a tournament participant and a true contender . We have the talent but have a ways to go before being a real contender
