Hi guys... question:

Is A gap the left and right space between the center and guard?

Is B gap the left and right space between the guard(s) and tackle?

Is C gap the space on the outside of the left and right tackle?

(As per defense terminology)

Thanks, in advance, y'all :)

Correct

The D Gap is outside the TE and is also referred to as the edge.

At first, I thought this thread might be about a Dr. Seuss book. :)

So D Gap is outside of the (C Gap) tackle and TE?
Outside the tackle is c gap which is common in a 2 back 1 te formation one of the tackles will not have the so the last gap would be the c gap on that side. But d gap will always be outside the TE when the TE is in tight. So a traditional 2 back, 1 TE, 2 WR you have only one d gap. In a 2 TE balanced formation where a TE will be on both sides the d gap will be on each side of the formation. Throw in a 2te to one side outside the last TE would be the E gap but you hardly see that term maybe except in goal line or 46
