Couldn't disagree with you more.

I don't remember reading that at all.

huh? selective memory then I guess, because it was almost a daily thing

and not just from the fans...from the people who covered the team...even Wade Phillips said numerous times how disappointed he was in the backup CB's, including Glenn

Good point. We had that injury situation while Glenn was still on the team. Which makes releasing him an even DUMBER move by JJ.

not really...Henry wasnt hurt and they didnt think Newman would be out that long

Who could have predicted we would have had injuries at the CB position? I mean, other than the fact that Newman couldn't play all preseason and there was no telling when he would be able to return and Anthony Henry is 30+ and hasn't stayed healthy since he came to the Cowboys, no one could have predicted injuries at the CB position.

:laugh2:

If that's true, that is was "almost a daily thing" you shouldn't have any problems digging up any of those "reports", right?

I'm with theo, I don't remember any such "reports" and I certainly don't remember it being an "almost daily thing".

Care to find a few of those? If I recall correctly, he only mentioned being disappointed in the CBs after the Texans game. And in that game Glenn played better than Jones, who was abused to no end.

Does any one remember if Glenn played on special teams at all ? If he didn't that's probably what it came down to.That, and I am sure they were not counting on two starting corners going down that close together. All in all letting him go, at worst, cost us the Pats game.Personally I don't think we would have won it with everyone healthy.I do believe should we meet them again we can beat them as long as we are healthy.

I remember it very well. I was at training camp with Shango and Grizz. If you don't seem to remember perhaps you should look it up.Why should the other poster have to go through the trouble because you guys can't remember.I will say it wasn't mentioned on a DAILY basis, but it was quite frequent and was very evident during the pre season games and was talked about by Wade on several occasions.

You remember it very well?

Go ahead and dig up a couple of threads then. Shouldn't be difficult if it happened "Daily".

You must be having comprehension problems cuz you agreed with David who said "it was mentioned on a daily basis", then you say "It wasn't on a daily basis".

So which is it, do you remember it on a daily basis or not?

You can't agree and disagree with him at the same time.

Nate Jones had a big part in the loss to the Pats. With AG the outcome might of been different.

When there is a claim, like you both made about how terrible Glenn was at the TC, then you are suppose to provide supporting data to support your claims, that's how it works. If you can't back it up with evidence, then it becomes your opinion, not factual.

I'm not saying you guys are right or wrong, just saying supporting data is needed to support your claim.

I wonder if you all thought the same when he bit on the move by the Hilliard and almost was burned for the winning TD and would have been had Gaycia not overthrown the pass?

So he had an int for a TD then ALMOST gave up a TD?

Yeah, I'll take that. A lot better then Nate Jones.

Ok, all I'm saying is you replied to his post (the one where he said it was reported on a daily basis) with "I remember it".

And at first that's all you posted ("I remember it"). You then edited your post and added the rest later.

Fact is it wasn't mentioned on a daily basis or anything close to a daily basis. It was mentioned once or twice the whole camp.

Um Rack, had the throw been on the money, there would have been a TD. He was left 15 yards behind.

So you're comparing something he did great, to something he almost did bad?

Again, I'll take that.
