IF we win this week... we can use it as a springboard for the rest of the season. I think the team's confidence will skyrocket. A win in Carolina, and I predict we sweep through the three game road trip. Write it down.

That said I think we're gonna get beat in a very tight game. 27-23. But one can hope. I do think #9 will play very, very well.
.............Im tellin ya, I may not be miss Cleo but I can read Romo like a book. The kinda kid back in school everybody wanted on their team. Gym rat, hustle type dude with an ATTITUDE. Kinda guy who's playing in a basketball game, given the eye to some hot cheerleader on the sideline, then out of the blue catches the pass and hits the 3 pointer for the WIN! Thats Romo! BTW..........Romo was an excellent basketball player back in highschool in Wisconsin. Missed the team bus one time and ran all the way to the school they were playing, wasnt THAT far though....LOL. TRUE STORY.

Screens, you bet ya, and Dallas permits those 3rd and 5 conversions near mid-field frequently.
Just a helpful hint here. Passes over the middle aren't screens.

David Carr's in his 5th year and he's never had this much talent around him. The guy struggles every game to do everything he can for a team that, quite honestly, has let him down.

Romo has stepped up into a very healthy situation. Sure Dallas has it's problems, but the basics are there. Carr has no running game. He has 1 decent WR, what appears to be a decent TE and an OLine worse than ours.

Romo doesn't have to be Superman. He just has to limit his screw ups.

On the opposite side of the ball, he's got a decent defense that will do everything they can to limit how much work the offense has to do.

The media heads have been quick to cast off the Cowboys, but that's what they get paid to do. Romo needs to ignore them b/c Unless your name is Brady or Roethlisberger, you're not gonna get any love from ESPN, so just deal w/ it.

Go Cowboys!
..............................BINGO!....DING ding ding....we have a winner.

Outside of a couple Shockey conversions on third down I don't really know which passes you're referring to.

It is just that Dallas is tired of bus driver's the fan base is used to stalwarts and Staubachs at that. Parcells style clashes with Cowboy tradition. He won SUper Bowls with Phil Simms and Jeff Hostetler and went with Drew Bledsoe and almost with Vinny Testeverde.

Refer to Jacksonville, Philadelphia and even the first half with Houston. Dump offs over the middle were poorly covered.

Not all of this was AKin mind you but he didn;t help in the least. Anthony Henry has actually been the coverman on some of the over the middle flub ups.
