A. Jackson in for visit

This surprises me.

Jackson was the guy with the bullseye on his back in the Philadelphia secondary.
Well, we do have some questions at corner. We don't know what Shavon Revel is going to be yet, and we have no idea how healthy Bland will be or how he will return from his foot injury. Jackson is at least veteran depth.

One more thing, you would like to see the young receivers in camp going up against some veteran corners in order to evaluate them. Jackson (if signed) could fill that role this summer since Bland and the starters aren't getting overworked.

Does this signal that Parker is not satisfied with his talent pool at CB? This seems more like a desperation move than an infusion of talent.
Yes.

He is likely getting rid of the old regime of guys (Carson, Steward, Butler) and wants his type guys (Jackson, Moore etc)

He would be fine for depth coupled with knowing the system already. He really struggles against teams with both 1a and 1b receivers. That’s why Dallas abused him. He got better as the season progressed and with the Eagles pass rush improving as well.

Probably coming in smelling like smoke he got burned so often in 2025.

I'm all for competition, just don't want to guarantee him $ or a roster spot. If he can't beat out the young guns then he can sit at home.

‘Least’ is an accurate description.

I would take Adoree Jackson over Carson, Stewart, and Bridges. I don’t want to ever see those guys play again.
Agreed. They are all likely gone

Bland, Revel, Durant, Moore are your 4. I think Jackson or a Steward will round it out

Doesn't mean they sign him, worth a look to see if he brings more than the bottom of the depth chart.

I liked what we saw from Butler in 2024, but it was a very brief taste and we didn't get to see him at all last year. I didn't think Steward was awful. Zion Childress was a bit intriguing last preseason, especially as a nickel option. Don't really know much about or have any expectations for Ballentine or Kendrick

I could live without Carson and Bridges never seeing the field again unless they show vast improvement.

I can't say Jackson wouldn't be an improvement over what we have for a fifth option or even a fourth (since we don't know how Moore will turn out). That's not necessarily meant as praise for Jackson.
