Watching the above video, I don't know why people grabbing others around the neck are dubbed "tough". It's not, it's lazy at best and cowardly at worst. It's targeting the most vulnerable area of the body because you're a weak ****. The guy who smashed others with their shoulder and sent them airborne is a tough nut, but the dudes wrapping their arms around the neck of others can **** off. Why they're even in a video dubbed "greatest hits" is beyond me

I love the sport and admire the athletic ability of those who were born able to play at a high level.
I think that those who are in charge are ruining it.
Instead of catering to their base, they are pandering to those with no interest.
The socio-political drama has hurt.

I still think we have a shot for this season to be an upward trend by winning a playoff game in Wild Card round with an opportunity to play for a conference championship.

If this defense keeps coming on who in our conference really scares us? Eagles, Seahawks, Rams, Saints , Panthers or Vikings.

These NFC teams are not head and shoulders above us even with an average defense.

NFL doesn’t have powerhouses teams anymore. The margin between winning and losing is so thin in today’s NFL.

It’s tough for us ole Diehards to recognize a championship caliber team because it won’t resemble anything we’ve seen before in our history.

Coaches, in playoffs, what we got?

Nobody likes to see sport going soft, the problem is if sport is highly dangerous not many want to participate. There's been talk of high school participation for a couple of decades now, and if you're a Mom would you encourage your son to participate in a sport where the likelihood of permanent injury is so high? The NFL want more people participating and so are trying to make it softer. It's not really working because it's not a soft sport, but that's their aim. And you'll find similar things happening around the world with their football codes.

The softening of the NFL was partially aimed at increasing participation rates in high school, and they had growth for a couple of decades in that area, unfortunately for the past 8 years or so there's been a decline.

I have the Sunday Ticket and 5 TV’s , my laptop and tablet streaming in my Sports Cave so depending how many games are broadcast at the same time I rarely look at commercials.

Even before we had satellite TV I had 2 TV’s on for both networks. I can’t imagine watching a single game at once unless I’m at the game.

Dam dude, that sounds like a pretty sick man cave you got.

For myself, I really don't care about any other teams or any other games besides the Cowboys. I have not watched a single game from start to finish besides the Cowboys this season. I also don't play fantasy football or gamble so no need to keep up with any other players stats or anything besides the Cowboys.

When the Cowboys were on bye, I didn't even turn the TV on that Sunday and once the Cowboys season is over, I'm out. I don't watch any of the playoff games until the SB and the only reason I watch the SB is for the commercials and because my parents always come over and we watch it together. As for the actual game, I really don't even care who wins although it was hilarious last year watching Goddell have to hand the trophy to Brady, that was priceless.

I th8nk the decline of football 8s due to many factors none less than computer gaming, kids growing up while sitting on their butts , living on their phones, and no responsibilities at home, after school, etc. We live in a soft society , period. If you get a grass burn on ur leg, got to go to the doctor, get a splinter, go to the doctor. Football is for the tough, not a lot of those left. And then we have the no responsibility for ur decisions, so after playing football , mak8ng millions I. Many cases, we sue the nfl in class action lawsuits for damages we can't even prove, and we knew there could be a head of time. Our society stinks. If I was the judge, I'd laugh u out of my courtroom.

That's all well and good and I definitely want it to be safer by eliminating all the cheap shots and stuff. The problem is you go too far in the other direction and you eliminate what made the game popular in the first place. Some games are just unwatchable anymore. Football is a dangerous game. You just can't eliminate all the danger.

Besides the wussification of the NFL which makes me sick, I would like to set aside 1 football day each week, Sunday. Now we have Sunday, Sunday night, Monday Night, and Thursday Night. I also don't like the bye week, which breaks the flow of the season.
