if you read the next sentence it talked about next year being uncapped...which is the only way it would make sense financally.

and im not sure of the rules in the event of an uncapped year but idt there is a franchise tag in that case...but that may not be right because the uncapped year is the last year of the CBA so some rules may still apply.

anyway IF there is NO CAP then marriman would be a nice addition imo and spencer is fine but ware and marriman were back to back picks from a pretty good defensive draft 1st round class and would be awesome/dominate.

Yes but the cap will return and then you're up a creek.
