A lot easier to put this loss behind me seeing Romo...

Romo had a good showing today IMO. With Romo in this offense looked sooo much more effective and dangerous then with Bledsoe in. You give Romo a week or 2 of practice and give Parcells the time to teach the man to protect the ball he will be a great QB IMO.

With a running game and playing from behind, you are going to see a QB's weaknesses. If he starts next week with a clean slate, IMO it will be a different story...

Yea, it is going to be a long year if they stay with Romo.

I just dont understand why they set this kid up for failure like this.

His confidence has got to be shot and losses the next 4 weeks wont help. We need to start thinking about Free Agent QBs for next year.

I was against this move 2 weeks ago but now and watching that 1st half, putting Bledsoe behind our line would a violation of a constitutional amendment about cruel and unusual punishment. I think BP did it more out of mercy and now we have a proven back up for the rest of the year. This team is still a year away but let Romo get all of his growing pains as a rookie this year instead of next year when this team can really stretch its legs. I really Jerry uses the majority of what we have in cap space on at least 2 O-lineman.

Watching Romo suck and our playoff chances disolve did not make it "easier" for me

Yep, I'm not really mad at all. It's more like a feeling of relief.

If Romo does get the start next week, you don't really have to worry about the OLine as much. You still have to worry obviously, but not as much. Plus, he was thrown into a situation where he was behind with no running game and forced to try to make plays. Against the Panthers, who Julius had great success against last year, I think the pressure will come off a little bit. The offense will probably be a little simplified, he'll be making safer throws, etc.

I don't think so, look at the way he continued to throw even after the INT's. Kid has a short memory.

they did what they had to do, Bledsoe is just getting worse, actually playing at the same level he has played at for the past 5 years, but Romo is going to be making alot of mistakes from here on out, he's inexperienced, it's almost a given, better we find out what he has now

He'll make some errors, but he was going up against a defense that new we were going to throw the ball. It makes it alot easier if the DL can tee off on a QB and the DB's know they can drop into coverage without having to really worry about the run, hence Barber being able to rip off a huge gain on that draw.

we'll see, but if you expect ROmo to be playing above average, you're going to be disappointed

:hammer:

Knowing that now we are just playing out the string did not make this loss any easier.

but as Rack pointed out, 2 INTs were terrible, impulse decisions, ROmo needs to take that gunslinger mentality down a notch

look it wasn't pretty tonight but there is no need to throw in the towel here. Romo showed some things... some good and some bad. Not every team we play is going to be as good as the Giants.

Romo will come around, that's a tough position to be in especially after the tip interception on the first play in the 2nd half. This is not a Super Bowl team as it stands at all. But...

If Bill can coach up Tony to manage the game a little better and we aren't as desparate to throw on every down... things might look a lot different. He made some gorgeous throws tonight and if TO holds that ball on 4th and 2 who knows what happens.

I tend to think the whole Romo entry was much more of a lift then a detriment. Bledsoe is a nice man but he is done here in Dallas.

I'm very happy with Romo. He did good tonite without any practice with the starters, playing from behind, no blocking, and many drops. He gets the ball out quick and he's active in the pocket but most of all he's accurate. Don't judge his Pics, he was forced to make a play and score. He will be fine and this offense will be explosive. Our weapons will be used now. Thank God!!!!

How many second half throws did we have? THe Giants knew we were playing from behind and mixed up coverages and pass rushes. Next week if the Panthers do that Julius will run it down their throats.

Actually I expect him to improve. He is going to have Bledsoe weeks but I think he will have Peyton Manning weeks also. I hope we use him in the Shotgun more he seems to be a different QB in the Shotgun.

Bledsoe played himself out of the starting position. That's what happened.

If you wanna blame a QB, maybe the blame should begin with the starter who couldn't get it done.....
