A lot easier to put this loss behind me seeing Romo...

i agree if we would have kept bledslow in there we would have wasted another year like we did 2 years ago with playing Old man Testaverde. Romo showd great upside and im excited to watch him continue to grow

Romo had a good showing today IMO. With Romo in this offense looked sooo much more effective and dangerous then with Bledsoe in. You give Romo a week or 2 of practice and give Parcells the time to teach the man to protect the ball he will be a great QB IMO.

romo has to be allowed more than a half of action to "grow". he showed escapability and the ability to create. yet he's so green he is often his own worst enemy. but he is young enough that parcells can work with him. he has room for improvement.

with bledsoe, what ya see is what ya get. and what i see just ain't enough.

let's take our chances with romo.

mixed up coverages and pass rushes.

you don't think teams aren't going to do that from the 1st snap from now on? they'll clog up the middle, and force Romo to throw deep, can he do that? who knows, and w/ his gunslinger mentality, idk

Of course they will. But with Romo we have some fire on offnese. I want to see him in a 0-0 contest, where we can run the ball. Where he doesn't have to throw every down.

The thing is the team doesn't have to go max protect every time a team shows blitz, everyone asked, "Wheres Witten". He has been blocking that is why he hasn't had any catches.

I am happier to watch Romo go through the growing pains than the fourteen year "veteran" anyday.

we didn't use max-protect, and the Giants got to Romo 2 times in 1 quarter's worth of action

idk guys, I'm not too happy, although anxious to see what Romo has, and excited about his future, but not his near future, he'll have to convince me

So you would rather go through a .500 season with a veteran on the downside of his career? I don't get it.

I didnt know sacks are never supposed to happen. I am not saying he is going to be John Elway next week, but he obviously has potential. He has an arm. Carolina doesnt blitz as often as you would think, but when they do that means single coverage for TO, TG or Witten. Witten actually caught a football tonite too. Barber had how many yards? We can run rollouts and playactions and not worry about keeping 6 or 7 guys to block Bledslow...

It was Romo's first game. And unless you have no football knowledge you would know that that he deserves a little lead way. Bledsoe (a 12 year vet) threw a pick in the end zone. He was about to lead us to another dissappointing season. Bledsoe makes ROOKIE mistakes.

I am unhappy that we lost the game but more importantly am happy that we are moving forward. Enough of the DREW VS TONY BS. Drew is a vet. Tony is not. Quincy Carter could have easily won this game for us. He was a considered a jackass by most of you on this board. I am ready to support a guy who can take us to the promise land!

Drew is a good short time answer but the NFC East has figured out how to beat him. On top of this who in their right mind didn't think that the entire team was ready to rally behind Romo.:starspin

under the cirumstances, Romo did pretty good. It's never easy to see the Boys lose, but at least there is something positive to take out of this game.

I hope we see Tony starting the rest of the way. I just can't take Bledsoe any longer-he's starting to look like Vinny T did, physically and mentally worn out

no, but our Oline better play better is what I'm saying, esp. w/ an inexperienced QB back there, I'm just excited as you guys are to see Romo

but I'm not expecting great things, am actually expecting alot of bumps in the road

Bledsoe has been around with multiple teams for a reason. He's done. Has been for a few years. Pats fans came to this board, Bills fans did the same. We were told how bad he was. We didn't want to listen. I didn't defend, but I sure as hell tried to justify Bledsoe as the QB. I didn't listen. Bledsoe sucks. It's just a shame we didn't do anything about it sooner.

Im hoping Romo goes Ben Roethlisberger, or Philip Rivers for us.

how can we put Romo in with 3 straight games on the road. Carolina is it, if we dont come out of this 3-2 with Indy its over

think about Grossman's performance last MN. Bad games can happen. Grossman had 4 int's and 2 fumbles. Let's give Romo a chance here.

Romo is what he is, he's inexperienced, I'm just setting the bar right

That is exactly my point. Ican accept rookie mistakes. I expect it. I don't expect rookie mistakes from a 14 year vet. Do I expect Romo to play lights out - NO. but I honestly don't think our record will be any different with bledsoe playing the rest of the way So at least we can develop a B who shows some promise for the future.
