I keep seeing analysts and people saying we wont make the playoffs this year because of our RB situation, and the "great" things the other teams in the NFC did. Did i miss something?

I am hearing the opposite. what I am hearing is that it basically doesn't matter who is running behind that line combined with upgrade at DE & CB. Most have us winning the division. Your probably just listening to local philly.

But, does anybody remember how much this franchise has let us down over the years? When we think this will be the year, this will be the game, and then , kerrplunk. Eagles 44 - Cowboys 6. Season over.

I disliked the Wade Phillips move right from the get go. I didnt see Wade as a HC. When Garret was named HC, I thought we might have a chance, but then we went 8-8, with the win and your in, hell. The Cowboys teams fold....easily. And I blamed JJ mostly.

But I think we are finally seeing the results of hiring Garrett. I really like the way he has handled the team. We have surrounded him with great coordinators. He IS the Head Coach! And I think were going in the right direction......But, there is that lingering feeling of being let down so many times. I have been waiting 20 freaking years! And just when I think we might have a shot......we get slaughtered....

Its going to take more then a few years of winning and actually competing with the best teams in the league, for everyone else to see and believe what die-hard fans have been seeing. They have to prove it by winning. Then maybe we can be mentioned with Seattle, 3 time defending NFC Champs.

I remember listening to that pregame on the radio while in the shower, I remember Brad Sham and the Philly guy were talking about a potential classic, I was thinking to myself the Eagles may score 50. We were dead team walking. I know my football team...

Guy is a personal favorite artist of mine. True musical chameleon that I believe didn't get his due because he didn't stay "radio friendly", but that is a conversation for somewhere else.

Yes. the act that these "analysts" are the same ones that said we would go 4-12 last year and thy still have know idea what the hell they are talking about. My recommendation...just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I saw one by Greg Rosenthal from NFL net work. He's a total Cowboy hater from all the NFL network pieces I saw him do on the Cowboys. All last year, he was convinced we will fold and not make the playoffs until we actually did make the playoffs. Then it was, we'll not win any playoff games rotuine.

Well most of last year's predictions were 6-10 or so, so I would not be disappointed if the accuracy (or lack thereof) remained constant....
