Team 1...380 yards of Offense
Team 2...308 yards of Offense

Team 1...24 first downs
Team 2...18 first downs

Team 1...5 of 13 on 3rd down
Team 2...3 of 11 on 3rd down

Team 1...34:03 time of possession
Team 2...33:43 time of possession

Team 1 should have scored 14 points, a holding penalty negated it.

Team 2 did score 14 points and is considered the best Offense in the NFL with the best Offensive mind in the NFL.

Both teams played teams whose defenses are their strengths.

What is the main difference here? There are two. Emotional attachment and too many penalties from our team.

On the penalty front Rex Ryan, a great disciplinary type coach we have been told, his team committed 14 penalties for 125 yards last night.

Morale of this story...don't jump off the ledge after week 1. Hell don't even climb out on the ledge yet.

But...but..but our schedule is tough. If we lose another game, our season is over

Great post per usual.

Rex Ryan/ Buddy Ryan teams will always have lot of penalties...its their persona...aggressive ...maybe little too aggressive...but their teams are a bear to beat. If i had a choice...give me the penalty filled team who has jaws of steel looking to take your head off instead of a penalty filled team...who give post game interviews smiling and saying...well get em next time.

Team 1 was on the road.
Team 2 was at home.

Team 1 had 60% new starters along the OL for this game.
Team 2 had 100% of the same starters back from their Super Bowl win.

Team 1 had 2 Pro Bowlers on the OL who were not really Pro Bowlers at all.
Team 3 had 3 Pro Bowlers on the OL and 1 of the 3 was All Pro.

Team 1 has a solid QB.
Team 2 has arguably one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL.

Their teams also have never won a Super Bowl. Who did they really get?

Spoiler:

team 1 is the cowboys
team 2 is the saints

Not to burst your bubble....I was not impressed by what the saints did offensively.

They scored the lowest offensive points in a win since December 2003.

That is bad for them.

Basically you are comparing us to a poorly performing Saints team.

Don't care about any of that stuff. I just want the team to be able to score better

And we're comparing going up against the Vikings defense to playing against the Commanders?

A team that went to the NFC Champsionship Game to a team that won four games and completely turned over its' coaching staff and scheme?

Weak comparison if you ask me.

I mean look at how this team fared the last time they saw the Vikings defense...

There's a difference between not being impressed and wanting to blow up the entire system, firing coaches, etc.

Who says they can't with their starting OL and the game plan not being to get the ball out of Tony's hands in 3 seconds or less?

thats all good hos, love your posts, but you know me, and some others, when we lose like we did and give the game away, i get so hot and rant and rave, i cant help it, its the dallas cowboy in me

granted season isnt over, and im cooled down now, but things need to be fixed

i get so tired of wade after losses like this saying, i should have done this or that, but didnt, its on me

why in the sam hill didnt you do it in the first place, your the head coach, do your cotton picking job

your paid 3 million or so like jason garrett, do your job

quit being in lala land in critical situations, what are you going to do wade when or if you get to a big championship game; are you going to be in lala land again?

:D

I'm hoping Kosier and Columbo make things a little easier, for sure. Penalties should, hopefully, be down this year with Flo out of the lineup and Barron back on the bench. I think the running game will really get going with Kyle back in there too

So fire Garrett right?
