I have never been a huge fan of his.. He's always been a stat compiler and loser to me.. But upon further review I gotta give it up to him. He has now evolved into that realm where Romo eventually got to in 2013.. He no longer makes the fatal mistake that loses his team the game.. He manages the game pretty well now.. He throws the ball well and cannot be fooled very often. I still don't believe he's put the team on my back QB but it would be intellectually dishonest to not acknowledge what he has become. His passer rating is tad inflated because he runs the WCO but he's got weapons and he finds them. As long as Cook is in the lineup to keep the defense off him he's dangerous..

This game is about the Dallas offense imo.

Scoring points will take away Dalvin Cook.

Once we do that then we can tee off on Cousins because he won’t be as conservative as these guys in recent weeks have been.

Cousins is....fine. Protect well for him and have a good gameplan and he can win games. Things break down, he may or may not be there for it. He's a competent starter in the NFL. He's neither laughable or scary. He's fine.

The Vikings have a good QB and good skill players, but suspect OL, discipline issues and are somewhat conservative. Cowboys can stop them there, but this is a more competent offense than they've seen in several weeks.

Personally, I believe we will need to score 31 to win this game.

The Vikings are giving up 4.8 ypc on the ground and have not held a single team to less than 103 yards. This screams Zeke and Pollard to me. They ran wild on the Vikings last year with Dalton at QB.. I shudder to think what they might do with Dak under center. I mention this because this means we could pound them on the ground, control the clock and limit their possessions, which might hold the score down.

He doesn't make any plays down the stretch. That is where Romo and him are completely different. Romo made some huge clutch plays to win football games late in games. Cousins doesn't do that. We get the lead and make Cousins beat us and we will win this game easily.

I bet the WFT wishes they had him now. They were so negligent to let him go.

Let's hope so.

I just do not think we have a good defense and forcing turnovers has masked that somewhat. We can't expect to force two turnovers every game.

I could see this turning into a shootout. Because the Vikings have the weapons for it.

Good defenses create turnovers.
Diggs creates turnovers.

You take Diggs out of the play and you're playing without much fear.

Diggs and his turnovers are masking a defense that is one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL and one of the worst defenses in the NFL at yards per carry allowed.

Not accurate, Brown, Kazee and Lewis have INTs plus there are fumble recoveries. eliminating the best player we have on defense isn't an argument. Sacks and QB pressures have also increased. Yards are important if you're getting turnovers that end the potential for a scoring drive.

One thing I will say is that Cook will fumble... and Cousins doesn't fear Diggs so I expect Diggs to get another pick and another two turnover game for our defense. Which I think ultimately will decide the game. With the Vikings defense being so porous against the run they should find themselves in a pick your poison scenario wherein there is no right answer. It'll be interesting to see if the Vikings can slow our offense down at all.

The defensive numbers also look a lot worse because for the most part we have been playing with leads and relaxing in the 4th (which is stupid) but it makes sense. Those numbers are fairly skewed IMO.
