Speaking of hirings and firings isn’t the ST coach Sorenson going to walk the plank . I know this stat is kept “ starting field position of opposition “. Dallas had to rank no higher than 30 of 32 . Meanwhile on Dallas returns if Turpin passed the 30 Dak was fist bumping everyone all over again .

Yeah our special teams were terrible. Im shocked they seem to be retaining Sorenson. We weren't great at anything on special teams.

The list of defensive coordinator candidates truly does imply Schottenheimer is driving the bus with the particular decision.

I have to wonder if its his relationship with Sorenson that is affecting that decision as well?

Dont get me wrong, I'd normally be right there with you, but I dont see the normal recycled trash coaches on our interview list.

Well that's pretty easy to deduce much easier to fix the small issues on special teams I mean two of our three all pros are on special teams not saying that wait on the decision but when your defense is that horrible that move had to be made I believe BS We'll make sure through Otas and all the camps this offseason that the special teams gets addressed not necessarily needing a new coach it just needs some work..

I always saw it is hard to run a special teams when your team has so many injuries on it you're using all these practice squad and young players now on especially on defense but they also were playing special teams and now they're getting moved around and I think the special teams was in flux all year there was number consistency..

I'm not making excuses but that's the least of my concerns is them fixing special teams as I'm betting they see it as an easy fix... It can address it in camp it was hardly our issue I mean there was only one game I believe it was the Vikings game that was absolutely horrid on special teams it cost us a lot of short fields but other than that it wasn't as big a need as defense..
