The list of defensive coordinator candidates truly does imply Schottenheimer is driving the bus with the particular decision.

I have to wonder if its his relationship with Sorenson that is affecting that decision as well?

Dont get me wrong, I'd normally be right there with you, but I dont see the normal recycled trash coaches on our interview list.

Interviewing and hiring are two different things.

They will end up hiring a retread with HC experience.

I don't see much of that on the interview list, BUT your theory holds plenty of weight based on history. Time will tell.
