This was the only shot hatch had at big money. THE ONLY ONE. He would have been an idiot to turn it down. end of story.

I'm glad Hatcher could "take care of his family". Hopefully they'll never have to worry about where the next meal is coming from ever again.

Nothing to be ashamed or red faced about. Many of us for years have looked at what this team COULD do and predicted what we hoped they would do if all went well. Like Groundhog Day they always fell short. Going into this year there was no really good reason to think it would be any different if we took our "hopes" out of the equation. And thats why I picked 6-10. I decided to change course on my predictions.

Remember there are still 10 games to go. If we continue along this track tho, Im gonna predict 6-10 again before next season.

I was one of the late August predictors and pessimists who guessed the Cowboys were destined a 6-10 or 7-9 season. I am red-faced and ashamed that I sold them short. Shrewd drafting and a premium offensive line will do wonders.

I predicted 8-8. I'm encouraged by the team's recent play, but I'm not amending my prediction until I've been proven wrong. The season is still long. One injury to Romo and we may be looking at 5-11.

We still have the Jags so 6-10 at worst if Romo falls down a flight of stairs and is rushed to Presbyterian.

But I will say it appeared obvious this team was being restructured the correct way .From the bottom up.
Red was always a respected figure where ever he went.He is intelligent and was born with NFL DNA.

The OJT flipped some folks out but Jerry needed somebody he trusted to save his chestnuts.
Red has/is coming through.

I attribute almost all of it to looking so much more well coached on both sides of the ball.

Catch, that's (coaching, etc.) a large part of the success so far this season. This year's team obviously has a new attitude and it looks like they really believe in themselves, that they can play strong for 4 quarters with anyone. With the division games coming up, things will get interesting moving forward. Some December games could be classics.
