In his defense, I believe the Giants GM giant done Jones any favors with the offense around him...not taking any responsibility easy from Jones but very few qbs would have flourished there

True but they did try......drafting Barkley and using a couple of high picks on WRs. The problem is a lot of their drafts haven't worked out but I def think he can be a starter in the right system.

Jones isnt bad but hes not good either...he def doesnt play like a 1st rounder more like a good 6th round pick from a small school whos never played against good talent

I thought Jones played well last night considering the amount of pressure he was under all game. He didn't turn it over until the very end when his WR slipped and fell.

Daniel Jones should be grateful Parsons wasn't 100% he was a half a second to slow from blowing up Jones several times. Idk if your OL is that bad or our front is that good at getting after the QB, but we've been doing this in all 3 games so far so maybe you'll be ok at OL.

For our part i hope we stick to this style of offense when Dak, Shultz and Gallup comes back. Our run blocking is looking better than it has in years but pass protection still scares me even though it's improving

Giants have to do a better job drafting offensive linemen, that line is terrible for the capital they put into it and unless that's fixed first, I don't know how the Giants can make a determination on Daniel Jones as a starting Quarterback...

good point….how do you judge a guy who has a surrounding cast that has sucked for 4 years? I’m glad Schoen and Daboll are making that call. I actually trust them…unlike the Gettleman and Judge duo.

First off….CONGRATULATIONS on a great well played win last night.

I was so looking forward to beating your Boys, but i have to admit, the better team won. Your boys played great on both sides of the ball. I knew your defense was very good, but I didn’t expect 24 pressures and 5-6 sacks on my QB. Your DC prepared your boys well and they responded.

Your offense did something the first two teams we played were unable to do- to not make Wink Martindale’s reputation even bigger. I mean no sacks….come on now! SMH

Cooper was great and even I smiled when CeeDee caught that TD to make up for the drop. Redemption is sweet.

But what really impressed me was after we scored to go up 13-6, your boys next two drives were TDs of 75 and 90 yards. That really was impressive, especially in a loud hostile territory.

Having said all of this….I was very proud of my Daniel Jones for hanging in there and busting his gut to make plays, extend drives, and lead an offense despite having no protection from the big guys up front (save Thomas) and the worst set of WRs in the NFL. I mean who is scared to cover guys named Richie, Sills, No separation Golladay, and Shepard, although the latter plays hard. But his drop/fumble at the end did hurt. I don’t know if Jones will be our QB in 2023, but at least for last night, I was very proud of him and glad to see him wearing Giant Blue…..errrrrr, Giant White last night.

Lastly, I apologize for the two obvious PIs on my boys that were not called. I had nothing to do with those. Enjoy the day and the week as you prepare to slaughter Wentz and Co. If you don’t mind, I may hang here this week just for some football talk….I always avoid hanging with my boys when the Giants lose. It’s not fun for me!

Man you are a classy fan (there are some from other teams that post here like Aero - egirls and Cpanther - stealers not seen him lately). You guys are better than last year for sure, think once you get a QB you will be for sure. Not sure what you do with SB after this season though (after we signed Zeke and CM with Panthers) not sure want to invest much in RB. Feel free to post here anytime my friend.

Jones looked awesome. He almost broke the game with his scrambling and I feel like a badly coached team would’ve used like LVE as a spy and mot Donovan Wilson who saved the game IMO.

jones could use a big tight end like a young martelleis Bennett. And a big wide receiver like a plaxico.

Daniel Jones probably needs a change of scenery but if I’m like the colts I give him A shot next year

I hate to sound so critical, but other than Saquon and Thomas, I think everyone else on offense is suspect and on trial, and that includes big Evan Neal. Although I’m always patient with rookies…..but I’m concerned about speed rushers going against him.

Early on, I really liked what your offensive coordinator was doing. Lots of quick stuff and putting our defenders in tough positions where they had to commit (mainly to only see Jones throw the ball over them). The pressure ultimately killed the plan because it put your team in some long-yardage situations where you couldn't just dink and dunk. Considering your team's line problems, it was the smart way to go, but our defense was simply too much for the Giants. Jones also performed better overall using that plan than I've seen him do, although Diggs did have a chance at two more interceptions.

An objective poster that knows football!!!!

thank you !!!

i still dislike the giants and hope your team doesnt win another game but for you i hope saquon rushes for 2k yards

well if we don’t win another game, this time we should get the 1st pick in the draft, not the 5th. Haha

I hope that when I typed " I cheered when Ceedee caught the TD pass" that it wouldn't give me away.......because we know almost all giants fans did the same exact thing.

Very typical

Wow, I forgot about CPanther. If I got his name right, he must have deleted his account, because I couldn't tag him.

I think Giants are on the right track with HC Daboll, I think it is a tall order to expect things to turn around year 1 but I think he has the Giants playing tough football right now.
