Never been a Dak hater. I just realize he is what he is, a bus driver. And that's fine but if the defense is going to play horrible then you will need a better QB. Yesterdays loss in on the defense first and foremost. If you are going to have a QB take up that much cap space then that QB will be expected to put the team on his back especially against lessor teams.

I honestly think he thought he could float it over the defenders hands. If he floats that to the back of the end zone, he has a chance. Instead he threw a lower pass right into the guy's hands. So either a bad read or a bad pass but either way dumb play Dak.

The problem is they had the 2nd shorted guy on the team running across the middle in the end zone. It would have been hard to float the ball without giving the defenders a chance to get to the ball first. They should have had someone like Hendershot going across and to the back of the end zone so Dak could throw it high over the defender's head.

Their red zone offense was awful, but right before that play they tried to run it up the middle twice. They lost 1 yard on two plays. Remember, they had a 1st and 5 at the 5. The INT was a 3rd and 6 call.

They got to the Arizona 16 with about 5 minutes to play. They burned two minutes off the clock gaining the next 10 yards. They were down 2 scores!

The Cowboys need to call so designed Dak runs down near the goal line. Maybe the pitch out to Pollard or Dowdle would be a good play of the run option with Pollard or even Luepke trailing. With Luepke in there the defense might think pass.

But then again, it was one of those days when nothing would have worked probably.

They guy that picked it was directly behind Tyler Smith and the DT, then dropped back. On the initial replay from this angle, it was clear that Dak didn't see him and thought he had a wide open receiver.

He is being asked to do things that he can not do. Warner broke all this stuff down very well last year. Dak in the 2016 offense using his legs and making simple reads was deadly. This Dak not so much.

This is the over reaction forum, are you not surprised? 3/4 of the posters on this forum act like they are published authors who have written a novel and won awards. The normally sane people fall into the moderate category and most folks on this forum treat them like they are a pair of worn out underware.
