It all happened behind the line of scrimmage, and "Minny" was blocking with all available players with no intention to pass. It's not unusual in the least that the defense wouldn't be in the offensive backfield. Plus, it's not as if the ball rolled around and the play was drawn out while "Minny" had to chase it down. It was all over very quickly.Minny's first play after we turned it over on downs, toss play that was fumbled. We had no one near the play. What was our D doing? If we were playing heads up with intensity, we would have had a chance at a recovery.
It was stupid Minny ran such a play in that situation. It was lazy we didn't have anyone close enough to make them pay for that stupidity.
