The draft can't be considered a success if it didn't accomplish the goal of purging Carpenter off the roster, right? :laugh2:

FB is not a full-time position on this team anyway, likely the H-Back (Hannah or the rook Hill, perhaps) will be able to handle his duties. Besides there is another FB on the roster, he was on the PS all season, Julius Crosslin. Cowboys were high on him.

Hos you are close on the roster, just make these few adjustments.

Dixon replaces Watkins, slide smith up behind sensabaugh
Mcquistan replaces Procter aka Stay Puff Marshmellow man
John Phillips TE Replaces Sam Hurd WR

Then I think your roster is dead on!

Proctor is our backup at Center and Guard. I doubt McQuistan can top that in value. I wish he could.

Wasn't there some statement by Jerry that the reason no DL was picked in the draft was because of Dixon's improvement? I seem to recall hearing or reading that somewhere.


If that's the case, Dixon should be there somewhere. As for his character issues, he had consensual relations w/a minor. What every fails to mention is that he was a minor himself, I believe (or 18 at the time).

Thats 53. Don't like not having a backup to Rat but frankly we don't have won that is worth a roster spot. Hamlin and Johnson are the only rookies i don't have making the team. I think with a year of seasoning, Wilson is better than his former OU teamate . Both would likely make the PS if they cleared waivers. Ball makes it if Mickens goes on PUP. I really like Isander and hope he can learn center and oust proctor. Carp gets one more shot.

I have to disagree with you on this one. What value do you have if you play 5 positions at a terrible level. I know you ragged on Proctor last year also I don't see any way he could possible have any value whatsoever.

I like it but I think the UDFA WR can make the squad.

I would love to see Olgatree make the squad, but he will have to really light up the OTAs and TC to turn some heads. Really pulling for him.

With that said, I think we can go in the season with what we have on the roster and I believe this because of the RBs. They will change defenses because of their threat.
