Now I'm no Dak hater and while he plays with a star on his helmet I will be behind him 100%.
But just like Tony Romo, Dak Prescott will never win a Super Bowl.
Tony was prone to making errors in big games, as is Dak.
Dak isn't going anywhere for the next couple of seasons but the front office need to start planning who his successor may be right now, whether it's through the draft or via a trade.

Romo made errors in big games and Dak doesn't show up in big games.

Dak may be more physically gifted (although his long ball doesn't seem to be as long as has been touted), but there is no comparison when it comes to situational IQ. Tony made his teammates better. Dak at best measures up with what's around him.

Romo was a baller no question about it, but it's true he choked at crunch time.
Dak can not even ball against a good defense, he feasts on bad teams and has make his career from it, but he will choke too.
Bring a young guy asap.

Not even comparable. Romo was leagues ahead of Dak in skill level.

Bar a year or two Dak has had a Ferrari of a team compared to what Romo dragged to measurable 8-8 seasons. Then throw in the defense, coaching, talent and etc

Romo had the talent to you build around
Dak you hope drives the bus straight

We're doing this again? Repeating anti-Cowboys, media driven general pejoratives (he was a "choker") attributed to Romo rooted in fantasy decontextualized from coaching, player personnel, play during the game, etc., to elevate Dak?

Notice how Romo is always described with this one dumb label, but no one diminishes his QB ability to read defenses, accuracy, poise, pocket presence, ability to escape the rush, elevate the team, etc.

Tony Romo had a passer rating of 93.0 with 1,316 yards, 8 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in 6 games in the playoffs in his career.

Does it really matter? He didn't win any more than Dak did. He didn't show up for big games most of his career either. Losing division titles to rivals, playing mediocre in playoff games. He's a better QB than Dak but who really cares.

Why? This is soooo old. There's a reason why neither did/will do anything. There is one constant with this team and it has nothing to do with either of them.

Yes, it does matter because it's creating an untruth to level some non-existent playing field based on one general fact: that Romo didn't get past a divisional playoff game nor win a SB.

The anointing oil was used far too soon on both...

It doesn't matter. Romo choked in big games. Fact. He won 2 playoff games. fact. I don't know how many times that guy broke my heart. It is what it is. Dak isn't as good. He played a great game against TB. I don't even remember Romo playing that good of a game in the playoffs. Then again I don't remember Romo playing as bad a game as Dak played yesterday. I'll be glad when all this nonsense is done and fans can compare SB winning QBs.
