THIS. Prescott has still not really supplanted Romo. And that won't happen until gets to the title game or beyond. Judging by what happened yesterday, the chances of that happening before the end of his current contract is rather remote. About the only thing you can do at this point is pay for another top flight wide-out like Hopkins, bring in a new coordinator to get "whatever" is left in Prescott...and hope for the best. It's that bad.I would rather have had a prime Romo in last nights game, then Dak any day.
I expect the staunchest Prescott advocates to persist in their denials, but make no mistake, Prescott was nowhere near elite on Sunday. He was barely average.
