A problem without a solution is

I believe the o-line has to block better (we knew it would be a challenge for Williams), and stop holding, creating large down and distance after penalties and sacks. 2 sacks were right threw Williams, 2 holding penalties on Smith and 2 on Collins. Dak does not do well with large down and distance situations and it's hard to get that back running the ball.

If any other NFL team did that, I would think that they're either trying to tank the season or they're trying to trade the RB and not get him hurt or that they're both hurt and didn't list in the injury report. It just doesn't make any sense. If the Giants only give Barkley 15 carries and OBJ 1 touch next week, I'd be happy.

This, James Conner got 36 carries with the stealers. Our brains running the show gives our best offense player 15. WTH!

The OL is the big problem with the offense. Make holes and Zeke will get going. We're not winning games unless we have the running game. The OL has looked very average lately.

The coaches always abandon the run early if it's not working. All the other team has to do is stop our running game in the first and they know we won't go back to it.

It's not like we were having big success running. I guess that 8-9 man in the box philosophy works. We just had nothing to make them pull back, no passing threat. Agree on Tavon BTW
 
Btw im sick of the excuses and dumbed down offenses and sometime defenses..look for an example we threw up the 2015 season with the excuse of oh romo went down we had backups..other teams find ways to win with backups,,look week one TB Winstaon out no problem they didnt dumb the offense down they went agreesive and had 500 yards of offense..flung it all around the yard..weeded and Cassell pretty much on the level with Fitz... difference our coaches with or without starters play not to lose..no aggression or fight..they seem to be afraid to take high risks as they will have to explain the failure should they lose..

For this reason alone we need to get rid of Garett and Lenehan..its the same old broken record,,excuses on missing players..other teams find ways to compensate we just find new ways to lose with excuse 101 Monday morning

The only constant is Garett and Jerry Jerry is finally being unseated but SJ but Garett is not the creative find ways to win kind of coach..he like his QB need things to be perfect around him to win, great coaches use pieces they have and create wins..

I thought that bringing Tavon was also supposed to help with some of that, some misdirection, force them side to side, deal with his quickness and speed, some pick your poison situations between Tavon and Zeke. All the just wait until we unleash Tavon Awesome! All that hope and buildup for 1 touch and 1 yard...... :( Even Ryan Switzer managed to get 8 yds this weekend. :rolleyes:

PA Cowboy Fan, that's being far too optimistic. I don't see us winning even 4 games this season as long as Dak insists on pretending to be a real QB rather than just the guy that hands the ball to Zeke.

It's worse and the movie re-run is getting stale and old. We have to be bad enough this year to clean the offensive coach staff
out along with JG so that a new franchise QB and new offensive scheme can take shape. We aren't getting better, we are continually
getting worse. Time to take out the trash and start over fresh.

Pulling for others failure is self defeating. I've seen some quality post from you but this is against everything that is prosperous and successful.

To each his own opinion and I enjoy your posts as well. I don't like failure and I hate rooting for failure but, we've seen the JG process for years and the only way for any change to take place is for JG to suffer another horrible season. Otherwise, Jerry will stick with his stepson for more seasons to come. If you think JG can lead this team to a SB, I have swamp land in Florida to sell you, cheap!
