If you knew football, you would KNOW that our DB's were the worst coached in the NFL...

Thats quite obvious with the praise coach Bowles has gotten and how our DB's have vastly improved their play & fundamentals...

That is why zimmy "Don't know greek" was canned as DB coach, he SUCKED...

Thats also why we could no longer trust zimmy to coach our scheme and its why Parcells HAD to make changes for the betterment of our TEAM!

Parcells did need someone to hold the clipboard this year anyway...

Some people would benefit from watching more football & posting less...

Then the world wouldn't know they don't know GREEK ether! :lmao2:
As my boys Dbair and Rack would say:

*yawn*

HH just for you, a lesson in chain of command. See a DC is higher on the pecking order than the secondary coach. It works like this (see below)

Bill Parcells
Head Coach

Mike Zimmer
Defensive Coordinator

Gary Gibbs
Linebackers

Mike MacIntyre
Assistant Secondary/Defensive Quality Control

Kacy Rodgers
Defensive Line

Todd Bowles
Secondary

Jarv

Why would I be frustrated? EVERYTHING I predict comes true...Get on the bandwagon instead of me running you all over day in & day out!

Just as I posted after I asked Bill PARCELLS about the 3-4 in the offseason, shortly after meeting Jerry Jones...Yep the 3-4 is coming...

The more you silly posters post the more it shows how little you know...
I think most of you still like davy the clown campy... :lmao2:

It tells ALOT how little Bill thinks of zimmy when he TOLD him to shut up, stop whinning and learn the 3-4...

I've seen several times where Purcells has mentioned the positive impact that Aaron Glenn has had on Newman. Newman's had an incredible season so far so there must be some truth to it, but that brings up my question.

Why the heck has Dallas been paying a secondary coach if Glenn is the one teaching?

I'm being serious. Does Newman not respond well to coaching from the staff or does the staff have a hard time making their point?

here's a question for you -- what is a better working environment -- one where you have a supervisor who always instructs you -- or one where you get help from your supervisor and an experienced co-worker?

Him bragging about football knowledge is like Janet Reno bragging about beauty contest wins.

Excuse me while I wait for the lame golf joke that will respond to this.

Back on topic.

Parcells has always felt Veterans are great teachers to the younger guys. Especially players that knows his system and what it takes. He's done it everywhere he goes. Sometimes a player can teach in ways that a coach can't.

Perfect example was Eddie George. Dude was lambasted and rediculed and obviouslt at end of a great career. But...... I guarantee you he taught JJ a lot in that season on work ethic, training, leadership, being a Pro. Reading D's etc. His "value" as a Vet transcended his doiminished skills as a backup RB.

He's a big believer in Vet leadership and passing on the tricks of the trade....

Eddie George wasn't even around for the Cowboys offseason. Maybe a better example would be Al Singleton and the rookie linebackers.

if was the full time returner he could be the best at it in the nfl

Not so fast.

First of all, there's a big difference between the talent level at Kansas State and the talent level of an NFL team.

Second, Newman is too valuable to this team to put in harm's way several times per game. I'd rather not have Newman return another punt in his life than have him take a jarring hit that jeopardizes his season or career. We've got backups on this roster who can return kicks just fine and who are much more replaceable.

Eddie George was around a lot and a mentor to JJ - who stepped up and performed.

To campare George to Als is bad. The rookie he needed to mentor is burried on the bench.....aND gEORGE ONE THE BEST rb'S TO PLAY THE GAME. aLS A MARGINAL 3 YEAR STARTER. Sorry bout caps

Glenn - Newman
Glenn/Key - Crayton

Better examples -- JMO

Al is a fine example. Both Ware and Fujita commended him for his vet leadership and what he brought to the team both on and off the field. A documented team leader.

Why do you take the time to write "Sorry bout caps". Why don't you just take the 2 seconds it takes to type that and fix it?

Junk - I'm a posting machine

I let typo's and stuff like that fly. I don't have time for spell check and perty up stuff.

Real answer I had to fly out and pick son up from basketball practice...... No Time to go back and retype.

2 seconds? My Commodore 64 is slow as Key - can't find any memory upgrades. You'd think someone would have stockpiled that stuff.
