The Dallas Cowboys lost one game in which Tony Romo was fully healthy last season.

Lost to San Francisco with him being clearly off. Lost to Washington in a game where he was injured, although he came back and didn't look too hot before the injury. Lost to Arizona when he was out. Lost to Philly with Romo coming off too little rest.

Lost to Green Bay but it was pretty close in a tough setting.

I think this gets forgotten somewhat and has both positive and negative implications. For one, a team with a healthy Tony is going to win a lot of games. But it also highlights how much his overall health, not just to suit up but to do so in good condition, will impact this season.

There's no question that some of the breaks that went against the Cowboys last year might have been avoided if the circumstances had been different. If Romo had been 100% vs. San Fran in the 1st game, it might easily have offered a different result. The game against Green Bay could also have ended much better with a change or two. Anyhow, the schedule this year seems to be tougher than it was in 2014. Nevertheless, a better defense this year might help produce a season very comparable to last. That would be terrific.

If Romo had been 100% last season, there is a good chance that they would have won 14 in the regular season.

Unless you expect a significant improvement from the weaker teams from last season, they have a fairly weak schedule. I don't see enough improvement from most of those teams to be that much better than last season.

We lost those games because we were simply outplayed by them. No excuses.

Oh you mean the Washington game where the starting QB broke a bone in his back and the following game where the starting QB was replaced by Brandon freaking Weeden? Not to mention the obviously unhealthy starting QB in week one in SF. There's a difference between excuses and reasons. Like how you're running out of reasons to be a Romo hater and filling the void with excuses.

Ouch. That left a mark...

I expect the fins and buffalo to be improved, and quite possibly the saints...
so I take that with a grain of salt

Miami is the only one I think improved in that group. I actually think both Buffalo and NO will be worse teams. NO is so cap tight they had to dump contributors. I don't think the defense will be any better and the offense got worse. Buffalo went from a mediocre starting QB to a huge question mark and didn't get much better in other places.

NO didn't play well last year... I don't believe they will be worse, not to mention it's at NO
Buffalo has McCoy and a year older Watkins... as well as a stout defense... and that's on the road as well.
Fins will be better, and that's on the road

I believe we can win those games... but they are far from gimmes...
That's why we play the game... I want the tough road... make us better in the long run.
