Good afternoon Cowboy fans,

I am an Ole Miss fan and will be shortly on my way to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl. I was hoping to get your advice on visiting Jerry World.

Parking suggestions /advice? (I already purchased parking / tailgating passes for lot 15 - am I a sucker?

Is it easy to sneak booze in?
How is the booze selection inside?

Public nudity encouraged / frowned upon?

Traffic?

Any other helpful advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and good luck in the playoffs

nudity for hot female fans is widely encouraged, for middle aged men it is seriously frowned upon. this is america after all, not the ... insert country here.

booze is eazy enough to sneak in and selection is fine once inside.. if by fine you like beer, lol.

tailgating is definitely the way to go. wander around you're parking lot and you'll find folks to hang with i am sure. lots of mini-crowds tail-gating.

the place is amazing, expect to be blown away ... and to spend lots of money.

all in all it will be worth it... especially if we beat the dirty birds.

Find a cab and have him take you to a part of town called "Cedar Springs".

They love public nudity, and i think you'd have a great time.

Why is it that those who like to go nude tend to be the ones who really should wear lots of clothing? :laugh2:

first advice-dont go to Dallas the Cotton Bowl will be played in Arlington

Parking suggestions /advice? (I already purchased parking / tailgating passes for lot 15 - am I a sucker?
Lot 15 is a good lot, about 2 blocks from stadium parking lots, I wouldnt call you a sucker for parking there

Is it easy to sneak booze in? never tried it, i know they give you a cursory pat down for Cowboys games
How is the booze selection inside? for college games it is different than for pro games, at the Big 12 championship they were not selling beer on the 300 level

Public nudity encouraged / frowned upon? see earlier answer about college age females only

Traffic? my experience has been very easy to get in and out but i head south and west, leaving north and east i have heard is harder

Any other helpful advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and good luck in the playoffs

How are the cops or security?

Are open containers ok?

Some of your questions validate a lot of the "Deliverance" jokes.

Do you have a pretty mouth? :grin2:

Well, in some places you can't walk around with a beer can or bottle and I've been told my mouth is average / above average.

for tail-gating open containers are fine. you can even kill a beer or two on the walk up to the stadium, just be prepared to plop the empty bottle/s into the trash bin at the gate.

good luck versus Okie State.

beers are 8.50 if i recall correctly. they sale big margarita swirlie things wives LOVE but they are like 12 bucks.

Are there certain areas of the stadium that you can't bring a beer to your seats? I heard from a friend that if you are not in a club seat you can purchase beer in the concourse, but have to drink it in the bar.
Is that true?
Also, why would they not sell beer to the 300 levels during the Big12 championship?

If you haven't noticed, Ole Miss fans are dedicated drinkers and this info is of the upmost importance to us.

I was at the Thanksgiving Day game and the vendors were constantly in our section selling beer. Expensive beer but beer none the less.
