Two soldiers, one Army and one Navy died at the same time and went to the pearly gates. St Peter then stated that "you both have your wings" but in order to cross the gates they must be thinking pure thoughts or your wings will fall off.
About that time the army soldiers wings fell off and as he bent over the pick them up.....the sailors wings fell off.
