personally i think we need a guy like singletary who actually played the game and know what its like out there to play hard and great in big games.

I feel as though our defense did not respect an aging twilight zoned parcells or his puppets.( they say they do because where else in the nfl can you collapse like our defense did and everybody is expected to return like nothing happened??)

I think singletary has the fire and the leadership abilities to help right this ship.

with a young creative mind in garrett on offense (another guy who's played the game and at least witnessed some huge games)

and singletary leading the team....we would be pretty good.

Im not against rivera either he has coached great players on the side of the ball where we lack the leadership at on DEFENSE!

I think that the offense is ok with the veterans that we have there.

I think we fell victim to alot of conservative calls in the second half of games, and a little inexperience from our young qb who happens to be an outstanding leader IMO which is why i beleive the emphasis shouldnt be on offense.

I think that jerry is simply giving these defensive guys the chance to overwhelm him before he simply hands the job to norv( who i beleive is an excellent cordinator but is getting the job because jerry trust him).

Like alexander said its a trendy league and im sorry but im with the trend give me a young firey, self motivated guy who will sleep at the facilities if he has to to win like, mangini, payton, gruden, lovie smith, mariucci(he was decent folks), andy reid (i hated making that comment but he wins), and bill cowher.

Im just saying guys norv had opportunities and he's failed. I know it was the skins and raiders but how many coaches can say that they've had 7seasons to get something right and didn't????

come on folks 7 seasons now and days are unheard of today considering respected coaches like dennis green and art shell get shown the door after coaching rejects like kurt warner and arron brooks(who cant out play andrew walter???)

thats long enough time to do what ya got to do. sorry i dont buy it.

Norv is going to be eaten alive by T.O, glenn( with no parcells around think new england) julius jones will cry to the public even louder now that bill is gone because he did it while bill was here.

I cant imagine how flat our defense will come out knowing that they have a soft coach.

Roy will play even more less disciplined and will get flamed even more by the guys on this board, and henry and newman will gamble and get beat and we will probably be 500.

And not to mention our linebackers bradie james with no motivation??? a young carpenter with terrible coaching bust waiting to happen. ayodele will become al singleton reincarnated just solid not good like he was paid to be.

and T.O will have pubicly said that norv sucks about week 8 and he will be released during the offseason( i guess norv will make some of yall happy for that lol)

I just think that this whole norv thing is for people trying to bring back the 90's and it just wont happen.

we will have to buy an enormous talented o-line and still invest in the holes in the defense.

we will be worse off then we were when we hired norv.

more money spent, and players will only be older.

Im sorry but would if rivera doesn't decide to coach the defense( which i hope he does, but why should he knowing that jerry really wants to make garrett the man in 2-3 years)

I think if chicago wins him and lovie will both be renewed, and even if they lose i think lovie doesn't agree to one without rivera.

I didn't think I could want Singletary as a coach any more than I did. You're just setting me up for disappointment. Thanks.
