If my boy OScan's alpha dog me against the world persona motivates Mo I'm some inverse fashion then so be it. As it stands right now, Mo was one of the biggest wasted top 10 pick in the history of the franchise. He can dig his own grown self out of this quandary but I for one am not going to waste any precious moments worrying about his next move. Let's go get this victory Sunday night with pressure up front, stingy linebacker play, and a secondary primed for some takeaways. One of our starting corners gets an INT Sunday night. Book it.

Competition brings out the best (or worst) in any player. Period. Bottom line, more clarity is realized with regard to that players ability to deliver. OScan has shown that he can rise to the occasion and elevate his play when faced with a competitive environment at his position. Mo has shown that he throws a nice rich boy temper tantrum.

It has been a true pleasewe assure witnessing my boy Oscan's ascent over the years against all odds and much fan opposition. He is a true competitor.

I couldn't care any less about flag boy.

This is very accurate, Scandrick was taken in the 5th the same year we took Jenkins in the first. Scandrick outplayed Jenkins and got a contract extension (we let Jenkins walk) and Scandrick continues to play at a high level. I can't comment on his off the field personality (obviously) but he has continued to produce and help this team win. Mo on the other hand reminds me more of Jenkins, out of position, missing tackles (avoiding them in Jenkins case) and always making excuses.

Yep this was my theory too kev.

If you really decipher Mo's PC from the other day, he didn't apologize for how he felt about the situation only for leaving his teammates out to dry. He still feels he was slighted by HOW he was told. I think he was told in front of Scandrick and the rest of the DBs instead of in private and I wouldn't be surprised if the big alpha-dog Scandrick man a smart-a remark about it.

Whatever it is, Claiborne needs to use this as motivation, stand up and be a MAN.

I 100% agree. In fact I would be surprised if there wasn't a back and forth between the two that led to more and ultimately mo leaving.

I can't wait to see. Especially since all eyes will be on him. He's either gonna shrink or shine.

couldn't agree more...but it really concerns me that he won't turn the corner...he will get plenty of looks when he is in there on sunday, so we will see...I also hope that Crawford can get some push in the middle and give brees some happy feet

if Scandrick grinding on Mo doesn't light his *** he's pathetic. he better stay in that film room.

My thoughts on Scandrick mentoring Claiborne:

I'd be upset too if a 5th rounder was better than me and taking my spot, but thats what happens when you're a bust

In 1992, a Steeler holdout, Thomas Everett, was brought in as a safety for the then Dallas Cowboys. He was a 5th round selection...and incidentally, solidified a secondary that did well in '92 and '93. He then pursued an even better contract with Tampa Bay, but made the Pro Bowl in '93 before leaving Dallas.
