It took me a longer to start this thread than it normally would. I wanted to have an idea of how serious the injury to Ware was before I even started thinking about this thread.

I want to be honest with you. I am growing weary with a lot of things. It has been impossible for me to enjoy a football game for several years as this team continues to falter and the fans continue to be upset. Wins or losses it doesn't matter. I haven't enjoyed a game in so long it's hard for me to even remember when it was. I try to enjoy the wins and even those are miserable around here.

I can tell you this, it has not been in the month of December that I enjoyed a game. I hate this month of the season. I am sick to death of hearing the pissing and moaning. I am sick that we even have to because once again, December is kicking our teeth in. Screw Santa Claus and his month of greed.

I dread game days and that feeling is so foreign to me that I can't even explain it. I love football. I love football discussions. I love this place. So I keep coming back even though I dread it.

Do you remember when Tony Romo was what was wrong with this team in December? I feel horrible for the guy. Two straight weeks he plays good football, and 2 losses get saddled on him. The thing that truly bothers me is I don't believe we lost to better teams. I think they are about even with us, but we still have gone from in charge of our destiny to the 6th seed with a juggernaut in the horizon coming closer.

I don't believe we can beat the Saints. I have not since about week 6 and we were winning then. Yeah, I know they aren't playing great right now, but we are not motivated enough. The longest current losing streak the Cowboys have against any team is the Saints. We haven't beaten them since 1998 and have lost 5 in a row.

I still think this is a good football team. They are not opportunists though and I have no idea why. I have read every hair brained theory out there and hatched some crazy ones myself. I can't even sell myself any more.

That sounded kinky.

Strange fact of the day. We have played on the Ides of December (December 13th) 9 times after today. We won the first 5. We have lost the last 4. The last three losses on this calendar date have all been by the score of 17-20.

There are no excuses for these losses. I'm not superstitious, but I can't help but wonder what has brought this bad luck.

We left points on the field yet again. We did not execute. Instead we're getting executed. No turnovers, few penalties, and we once again racked up decent yardage. We still can't kick a Field Goal. If we're going to go for it on 4th and goal, don't hand it to the lead back.

This team does just enough to make you love the players, and just enough to make you have ulcers.

I don't know about anyone else, but the loss of Ware hurts more than the game loss to me. I am numb to those in December any more.

I think this loss sealed Wade's fate. I hate to say that, because it isn't really what should determine his future. The media and fans will not be behind him and the team cannot save him. Not even a march in the post season will save him now. It could have for a while, but Jerry cannot gamble any more that guys will fight for him. They fight, but they don't win.

That's the name of the game.

I hate December. This decade has sucked. I'm weary of it all.

I think we were even with the Giants, but San Diego is head and shoulders better than us. Unfortunately.

Well said my friend. I can remember the optimism we had at the Wildcat House about the future of this team. I no longer have that feeling...sad really...

No. They are what we thought they were 8-8 or 9-7. Vastly overated talent.

I don't think so. A made field goal and a TD instead of a great goal line stand by SD and we'd all be singing a different song.

now if you can only drop the homeristic-cupcape-and-lolly-pop drivel and get on the FIRE RED bandwagon you'll have taken the first real step forward.

ps - there is no such thing as bad luck, only lack of preparation which invites poor outcomes.

Did you guys see the camera pan over to Jerry's box suite? One caption showed him with both hands covering his face. The last shot shown was of Jerry angrily tossing whatever it was in his hands off the table. You know he was pissed and rightfully so.

I didn't think the Cowboys played bad, but just not good enough. We indeed left points on the board. Thank you Nick Folk for once again shanking a makeable FG. And why did Garrett have Marion Barber take the handoff from the lead back position? Stupid.

If I had the opportunity to call the play, I would have put in Marcus Spears as the FB and ran Barber right behind him and Leonard Davis. Instead, the entire Charger's defense knew who was getting the ball. 10 points left on the field. Pathetic.

The Chargers were not the better team today, but they capitlized on what we couldn't. My hats off to them.

It had nothing to do with preparation. Only execution my friend.

The bottom line is that this team isn't good enough to play against the big boys, December or not. And it hasn't been in a long time.

This team isn't as talented and Jerry Jones and most posters on this board think they are. They prove it year after year after year. The sooner Jerry realizes that , the better.

But sadly, I think it's going to have to take the death of Jerry Jones before the Cowboys can become great again. And by then, Tony Romo may be finished as a player.

I must agree that Wade will be a goner, you saw the apparent disgust written all over Jerry's face regardless of his post game speech.

Until we get a leader of men and a coach that has the balls and energy to right this ship properly, we will continue to lose.

Bill P was too old and harsh but Wade is too soft and fluffy.

This team is simply OK, it can beat the poor teams most of the time and loses frequently to the equal or better teams especially when there is something on the line.

This decade has made me sick as well, I just hope someway or somehow, Jerry actually picks a good head coach next time and that he stops drinking the kool-aide regarding "how talented we are" because clearly we need some better players on both sides of the ball as well to really improve.

I do agree, the group of "Fans" that love it when we lose and post here in bunches right after make me ill.

they always talk about all this generic crap and just basically intend to frustrate and tick off the rest of us.

I havent seen one person talk about the corelation of the goal line stand and the loss of marty b. they are all to busy firing all the coaches and saying how are players suck.

I have to agree with you hos. this place has actually turned for the worse and it just makes the losses more hard to handle. the fans of this team never stand up for their team, they just want to move on to the next hot name or topic.

I always find it ironic that the same fans who post on here who complain about the fans in the stadium actually have the exact same crappy attitude as the people they are complaining about. I always get the feeling these people would be the ones in the stadium yelling and screaming about firing coaches and benching players during the game....

Losing sucks. it really sucks that a place as large as this just makes the losses worse.
