A Touch of Hostility... Week 5

Good post Hos. At the beginning of the year I posted for me the two keys to a successful season.

They were stay healthy (earth shattering...I know) and control penalties. Penalties are killing us. How many drives has Dallas self imploded on due to penalties?

The frustrating part is that this team hasn't been flat out beaten. They have beaten themselves. They tried to do it again today, but the big plays really helped out.

I have to wonder how special teams could be considered to have had a good day?

Crayton was a mess and when they sent newman out there to replace him in the third, he made one of the biggest gaffes of the game. How he lets the ball go over his head when he could have caught it at the 18 is beyond me. The offense had to start at the three, but I know no one is allowed to say anyone puts the offense in a bad situation, so I guess..you know.

then crayton fair catches with 5 yards between him and the nearest defender.

throw in folk missed a field goal and I fail to see how the special teams had a good day.

If we play special teams like this again against actual good teams we will get killed.

I think JJ will offer his condolences to Zimmer by making him our HC next year and retaining the rest coaching staff

Except Garrett and replacing him with Jack Reilly

Continuity

I'm gonna assume he meant the cover team which was bad years past.

That's awesome stuff. Are you allowed to say who it is?

I agree with you big time on the Zimmer comments. That was just flat out awesome to see.

Very much so.

When the adrenaline wears off, when the lights go out at the stadium, when he drives home all that will greet him are empty halls and deafeningly quiet rooms. I cannot fathom, nor do I wish to, what that must feel like for him.

Sensabaugh has mentioned to someone at VR that he reads some, and Ratliff supposedly reads as well. I got an anonymous comment about my sig image 2 years ago on the DC.com boards right after the first Giants game. Always loved the guy as a player.

Well if any of them read this thread I hope one of them will pass this message to Hamlin.

Please, take of the skirt and start earning a paycheck. You are the Bobby Carpenter of the secondary except you start. Actually, that might be a little disrespectful to Bobby who at least makes a good cheerleader on both home and away fields. How can any player honestly look at the man next to him and not feel ashamed with such a performance week in and week out is mind boggling.

Don't mean to jock-ride but I agree 100%. ESPECIALLY with your prevent defense comment. It stinks more than the back end of a wet moose in spring.

If is #19, nice job we have been missing you. If it is #23, we don't get to see enough of you. Either way you both played a great game today

No, because the Cowboys do not want their players to do that and he could get in trouble. He doesn't read all the time. Just now and then.

yeah whoever it is probably just reads from time to time...they wouldn't post I would imagine. If they did the board would explode.

and whoever it is, if you want to come over some time, hang out, let me know :)

Thats pretty cool that players actually read this board. I'm not surprised either but at least they can see what the fans think of them week in week out.
